they are supposed to make the ones below them accountable. no use saying ive made good money for the bussiness who cares if the front lines are getting assaulted every day by middle management.
So they appoint Hartigan ... that fails and he’s sacked. They appoint Sheens who recommends to the Board that Madge be sacked ... so they rubber stamp that.

Short of the Board coaching the team etc, I’m not sure what you want them to do. Do you want them to sack Sheens ?

If you have to constantly undo your decisions, you’re making bad ones.

Also, they need to fix the leaks.

I'd like to add sacking a coach without having a replacement lined up. Poor old Noddy was sent in as fodder.

This club is ****en useless.
It's a catch 22 situation. You can't be looking for a new coach with Madge still there. You can't fire Madge without a good replacement. However, compare that to how Sharks handled Morris- pretty much said we want you to finish the year but we don't want you for the year after. They treated him with a bit more respect than what we treated Madge with.

I don't think we handled it bad, but there's room for improvement in how staff is treated.

Ducks ought to have been in a row though.

Probably don't agree about when he should have been sacked but agree 100% that he should have been gone a while ago. Apart from the failure of the club during his tenure, he is one of the most unimpressive fellows you'd ever see in a CEO role.
Delivers a fantastic one sentence quote whenever someone is lucky enough to leave the organisation though.
