I'll also state that I have no desire for Benny Elias to be involved in the Wests Tigers in any fashion.

Can't imagine the club's owners, the Holman Barnes Group, going to this much trouble if they have no intention of following up on any of its recommendations which, given the shambolic way the joint has been run for years, are unlikely to be kind to our present administration.
I doubt we'll ever see the recommendations...if so its sure to cause a lot of debate and discussion

I am not on some old Magpies witch hunt here. In fact we have had excellent communications with the Holman Barnes Group throughout this process. This has zero to do with Balmain and the Magpies, this is about making Wests Tigers successful.
For some reason you seem to have your feather ruffled here. Maybe time to let old grudges go for your own health.

This place is weird. Wests completely control WT and yet I never see old Balmain fans bitching about Wests, its always a handful of old Magpies bitching and moaning.

I doubt the majority of Holman Barnes directors have ever had anything to do with wests magpies.We have been gone for over 20 years

Well they appoint 4 of the 7 board members of WSDRLFC so they control Magpies, and 3 of WSDRLFC board members are HB board members but somehow probably Balmains fault.

This club has just won back to back spoons and is looking down the barrel of another, on the back of not playing finals football for over a decade. Off the field we lurch from one stuff up to another.
I think it is important it is important to find the causes of the position the club finds itself in and solutions to rectify it.
I would expect any organisation with a decade of failure to investigate the reason for that failure.

Andreachio, Wade and Burgess have a Magpies background.
Romero I think does as well. Says she was a life long Magpies fan before the merge.
I don’t understand what your issue is. The whole time @cochise has not once called for the return of Balmain nor Magpies. Both clubs are now merged and the key of this review is to help make the Wests Tigers successful, not bring either club back into first grade. Besides our whole board of directors besides Danny and Lee are either Magpies fans, or involved with the Magpies prior to the merge or both. Maybe it’s time the board was not people who were associated with either club?
