WT situation is expected

Liddle maybe just maybe can make the grade but at 5/8 Reynolds keeps on breaking down and just can’t get ant form traction when he is playing and Gamble is showing bugger all in reggies. Apart from that who have you got?

@Snake WTs are that stupid that we will just let Robbie play out this season and get his 300. Sign Liddle next on a massive/long term contract whilst still unproven at NRL level and enjoy watching him either injured or playing reserves. Why else are they not starting him? Spare me the whole "He needs match fitness". Plenty out there younger and smaller playing bigger minutes.

Liddle has got energy but its a worry having Brooks and him running the plays. Not sure that either have the smarts to run the team and both are in key positions. I can understand Maguire staying with Farah till this point but no doubt Liddle has to be tested soon.

I think we look much sharper with Liddle & Brooks in charge & would like to see more of it. It’s time to hand them the reigns.

This could well be the crux of the matter. Why is WT giving the geriatrics Farah and Benji a free pass to every first grade match when the clubs should, very much at this stage of the season, be promoting our younger players so that they can show the club just what they are capable of to deserve a long time first grade berth.

Players like Gamble, why not give him a go? He's played like what 1 or 2 games? Give him 4 or 5 games, then if no good, don't re-sign him.Otherwise he'll leave, go to another club, possibly do well, and again we look like idiots.

I think we’ve seen enough of Gamble to know that he is not the answer to any of our problems.

I agree with offering the coach an extension, get some stability in the place and put the wallet away until the cap position is better, promote the juniors, can’t do any worse than lose games u til we have money to spend and we are already doing that.
My 2cents worth on another subject, we started the slide into oblivion on the day that the two directors back stabbed Marina Go.

I completely agree in regards to Marina Go and the disgraceful decision by a couple of board members to backstab her.She was exactly the right person to show the attitude we lacked and get respect for the club.

I agree mate, it is like Benji and Robbie have to play first grade, give Liddle a shot, hell Gamble has had one game when the whole team played bad. Who knows with better players around him he might go alright, he looked good in Reggie’s when Drinky was playing with him

@851 x2 look at his halves partner... he is not a dominant half that controls the game and allows gamble to play his natural off the cuff style of play. Similar to Benji, when we lost Robert Lui, Benji had to take over the halfback role and take care of the game management side of things... which wasn't one of his strengths at the time. It is stifling gambles chances of hitting any sort of form. I would extend him for another year or so, and play madden with him... I haven't seen him play much but heard that he does have the game management skill I halfback requires.

I agree mate, it is like Benji and Robbie have to play first grade, give Liddle a shot, hell Gamble has had one game when the whole team played bad. Who knows with better players around him he might go alright, he looked good in Reggie’s when Drinky was playing with him

So gamble needs another shot at fg with better players around him? He better hope not to get selected in 2019 then....maybe for a new club next year?

Anger from fans is to be expected in these circumstances, take Brooks for example, his only dominant game was his first one, not as an organiser, but as a runner, why coaches have not made him 5/8 and got a proper halfback is beyond me and he is signed on large $$$$$. It is a situation of “pass the parcel” for responsibility in this club, no one is accountable for anything ,we are perennial bottom feeders and nothing is going to change whilst the people in charge are weathermen and musicians. Our chair has been very quiet since occupying his post, maybe sipping Grange instead of getting out there and talking us up.
I will never support another club against the Tigers, but in my later years, every moment is precious , so cant waste it like so many of the Tigers squad are doing with there time.
