We are the first team in NRL history to concede 26+ points in 10 consecutive weeks.

Thats a bit of a stupid stat really. In those 10 games we played 7 of the top eight sides and 5 were against top four sides. Maybe we should suggest fairer draws for a change. We played 3 out of the top 4 sides twice in a shortened comp.

Yeah I was thinking the same. The draw bias played its part in that stat.

Run metres and PCMs from our whole pack have been low for most of the season, as has line speed and marker D, and our D around the ruck.
In other words our forwards are clearly below par in both A and D. It is pretty obvious where we need to concentrate our rebuilding efforts.

I agree until we get our forwards in order nothing will change. A rebuilding of the pack is required first and foremost plus a fullback to get this team to the top 8. Unfortunately it won’t happen til at least 2022 because of our poor roster. I would like to know when our pack actually won the run metres for a game. We are the lowest ranked pre contact metres as well. We have a multitude of issues in the forwards that need to be rectified.

We certaintly had a very difficult draw. Who is to say that we wouldn't have made the top 8 if we had, for example, Cronulla's draw? Cronulla are probably one of the worst teams to ever make the top 8.

Blood absolute farce of the NRL
It drives me nuts
And I am sick of the crap they continue to dish up

I think it's fair to say the defence became a real problem at the back end of the year.

Whether or not it's 9 games or 10 games in a row with bad defence, that's probably the part that has people indifferent.

Any match over 20 points you are more likely to lose, so 26 isn't even a benchmark.
