Thought there were maybe 1 or 2 bad calls but overall reffing was ok.

Our pack can't control other sides and it leads to errors in attack and defence.

I agree, the calls were generally OK but I think we probably deserved a few 6 agains. Calls tend to flow with possession and we had very little for long periods and fatigue leads to penalties against.

No doubt the refs could do better, but our dropped balls and offloads conceded are a real worry. Not to mention things like bad play the balls and no dummy half.

These 6 again calls do my head in. I liked the idea that they would replace a penalty but how many of them given now would have been a penalty under the old rules.

It’s becoming like a rugby maul.

Manly looked gassed @70 mins. - a bit like Sonny Bill after 6 ......

The glut of possession they had seemed to work against them late in the game. For example, Sirro had about 18 hitups by about the 60th minute, which was a career high for him and then got whacked in the ribs by Garner which knocked whatever energy he had left out of him. The last 10 minutes, Manly just had nothing left in the tank.

It was nice to see us finishing over the top of a team for once.

That "no dummy half" play, pissed me off so much. The lead up to that play was awesome, we went through so many hands I thought we were gonna score of that.

When Morgan Harper scored his second try I went to the pub, only to find out that we won, what happened!

They never gave up, Benji got told to sit back and watch Brooks and the rest to run the show... ? just kidding but again they didn't give up and that's what I like most about the game tonight

Benji does need to give up the game and retire... he just needs a ticker tape parade on his last game for us

We all need ticker tape ?

For not swearing? Lol

Nah
To hold our tickers together during games like tonight

Ticket tape parade ....You wrote ticker ?

It is ticker tape.

Yeah my bad
Stupid yanks ?

Great win. Far from pretty and we weren't at our best but we have played some really good games this year and lost so i'll take the not at our best and the win. Manly stole our specialty of having a lead and being run down.

Happy Father's Day to all forum Dads. The world is back to normal with WT back in 9th spot and a win over the Silvertails. Makes an old Fibro fan very happy.

Normally teams tire from excessive defence. Manly seemed to tire from excessive attack!

Guess who played the ball quickly without checking there was a dummy half?
That was your Captain gentlemen

guess who was standing there, watching him play the ball? Brooks and Grant.

All of a sudden our left edge has some peri peri sauce. We're gonna need some Vandals in the forwards though.

Switch Garner to the lef to work with Brooks. Play McIntyre on the right. Leilua to interchange.

Switch Garner right out thanks!

He was bad tonight
He’s been hit or miss this year

Switch him to left hitting the gap off Brooks. Both work well together.

Lucy has been our most consistent forward all year.

The problem for lucky Luch is he has no room to move now because his a marked man has 3 to 4 players hanging off him in tackles.

Liddle came on, Grant went in to playmaker mode, Brooks finally decided to play both sides of the ruck and run the ball, Benji stopped calling for the ball on every play, forwards ran on to the ball instead of taking it standing still. Its so annoying when you see that they can play an up tempo game and run roughshod over a side.

Brooks was dreaming of a Roosters contract and Harry was just tired ... in any case school boy stuff just playing the ball in broken play without confirming dummy half cover
