Marshall is tired and showing his age. He was bought to play 25 minutes a week or sit in reserves.

What he has done has been magnificent for mine.

However he has hit the wall. What is he 34? Coming off 2 seasons of not many 80 minutes games.

No surprise at all what is happening to him. Especially noe our forwards are getting rolled most weeks.

This has so been my point for like at least a month now…..That's why I've wanted to blood gamble @ 6 and Benji @ 14\. Surlely Ivan MUST see now........Won't he?????

I can't see Gamble being a better option. Maybe Lolihea if fit. Otherwise I would stick with Benji. Hopefully Reynolds gives us something because we need something soon.

Another try down his side tonight and seemed to come in to far leaving a man unmarked

The only good thing he did tonight was catch the ball a meter in from the side line and not get pushed out

You are barking up the wrong tree as Nofo made good decisions tonight and even got back out to bundle one in touch, as well as beating three panthers to a kick well inside his wing.

Whatever happens we have a 10 days until the Bulldogs, plenty of time to work on any changes and our errors. We made over 400 tackles so the 10 days is a blessing.

Hopefully the Kev situation is sorted out.

You or I would honestly be a better option than Benji. He has offered nothing the last 4-6 weeks. Would add an x factor if gamble was to debut instead of inept Play by a senior player.

I agree with Benji back the the bench. Truth is he has done more than enough contributing in 6 wins and the evolution of Brooks as well as marketing. Still useful and a bit harsh for write him off completely.

I'd like to think this was a good defensive effort and with Fanoua, Tui,Reynolds and Kev in there somewhere there are more tries for us. We need backers up. Can't just have one out stuff.

I could live with those changes, except for MCK. He is reserve grade material in my view. Need Aloiai in team as well.

Marshall and Marsters were 10m infield on all 3 occasions ….Nofoaluma managed to save 2...

Marshall's head is elsewhere..

He has really dropped off since our first game we took to NZ.

It would be a gutsy decision to drop him for gamble and it wouldn’t make for good team harmony.

However when Reynolds returns it wpuld be a good time to send him back to ISP.

Benji would be a good replacement for Drinkwater too.

I watched that try closely … not his fault .
He was left defending two men - it was the guys inside let him down this time.
He managed to save two tries later on.

Not sure how much faith can be put in Josh Reynolds to make a significant difference at this point. He looked very clunky in his only apperance this year and hasnt played much footy in a long time. He will need some time.to adjust not only to a new team but also to the demands physically, of the game.

I agree with you. Onl y addition would be Mcilrwick as starting hooker. Never want to see Taylor at hooker again. Cant pass ball quickly or accurately.

I get what you are saying. I wouldnt go for Gamble yet either but the guy could not do any worse than the rubbish Marshall has served up.
