Can anyone tell me what's going on with Curtis I have high hopes for the young fella but haven't herd or seen anything of him yet ?

Still recovering from his injury and I am pretty sure he will make his comeback through. I am sure looking forward to seeing 6\. Sironen 7\. Brooks in the future. I hope that we see this

1\. Tedesco
6\. Marshall
7\. Brooks
9\. Farah

14\. Sironen

Some time this year.

He tweeted this earlier today:

I think his future is a ball playing lock.

Long term I think you're right, but for now, he and Braith second row ball playing either side, and Fulton as a hard hitting lock… i like miller, but he is a bit of a solid stock player, distributes well, but doesnt work the line enough. Braith and Curtis both have the nads to hit it up and would be offload mayhem for opposition teams. For years we have run abnormal team selection and recruitment, about time we think outside the box and not have orthodox structure.

Forget lock the way its played these days.

2nd rowers are the ones who play on the edges hitting holes and using the ball. Curtis is a wide running ballplaying backrower who is yet to develope the body for it. Hopefully 2013 will see the kid play some NRL off the bench at Centre, 5/8 and backrow before stepping up in 2014 and 2015…...we just have to keep him.

Not as big a sirro fan as a lot of other people; haven't seen amazing amounts of potential as yet. But, he could definitely play lock, and long term (with the brooks/moses combo coming through) that's probably the best option for the team.

he has done jack shit as a footballer yet and every one raves about him, need to seer him in the NSW CUP for a couple of months before rating him a 1st grader.

Sironen came into 1st grade and looked natural, he wasn't out of place. For a guy in a position like that, its a hell of a compliment.

Nobody is saying he was Dally M material or anything just yet.

Still don't see anyone in this forward pack that is prepared to get their hands dirty. We don't lack talent, we lack aggression in my opinion. When we are hitting it out of our own 20 on a cold wet Saturday night, which forward is going to put their hand up for a run that will skittle defenders?

Keithy maybe, Blair I hope so, but don't know who else.

ur deadset right no mongrel forwards in our team, this is where the club has let its self down we have not bought any mongrel forwards, and we have not had any big strapping forwards come through the system, all the kids are short and stockie no big players.

I've seriously lost count of the number of backline configurations you have devised before the season has even started. The day you learn patience will be a truly remarkable event.

Yea…....that won't be happening.

Pettybourne can't play big minutes and cannot bend the front line.
He is a backrower.

I was referring to his ability to play and lead as an agressive forward and I think you'll find that he is a chance of playing some front row, particularly with our shortage in that department at the moment.

He's big, agressive, and has great leg speed, who I believe does 'bend the line'.

that was at 6 though….

asking him to take hit ups and double the tackle count is a different kettle of fish. however, he is capable of pulling it off.

yeh.. edge backrower is i think the best spot for him.. i really think he is too slow for halves or centres..

the way he was hitting the holes off benji's ball was phenomenal.. reminded me of dwyer. also his tackling technique was amazing. he is an aggressive forward as well.. when he grows up more, i wanna see how hard he hits the line
