Your favourite Wests Tigers non finals game?

The Tigers vs Parra loss in 09, and the Tigers Semi loss in 2010 were some of our more memorable losses. Despite what people might say, that Dragons lost we were outclassed and out on our feet for the final 40, but we fought to the end like warriors and almost snatched it. We spent that whole half pretty much running the ball out from our 10m, while the Dragons kept rolling forward into our half.

A few other great memorable wins, in 2002 beating Parra @ Leichhardt and beating Bulldogs at the Showground (Withers smashed Utai).

The back to back wins in 2005 vs Roosters and Bulldogs in round 3 and 4 were fantastic, and the away wins over Dragons/Raiders are 2 of our better ones. I still can't go past the Sharks Game at Shark park in 05 though, just for pure entertainment value. Hodgson, Richards, Marshall, Prince in full flight were incredible.

Was it the first bulldogs game in 2005 where the commentators were criticising us for throwing the ball around in our own half, only for us to make a break seconds later to score the try? Pretty much summed up our 2005 premiership for me…

That '05 game against Manly…First taste of Live friday night footy at Leichhardt. Massive night...got my '05 premiership jersey and i knew that when Prince slotted that FG just before half time the second half was going to be special!

Just reading through these comments, we really were spoilt in 2005\. I mean, fair enough, there had been A LOT of suffering for years and years on both sides of the club, but the fact that we were very successful all of a sudden, coupled with the fact that we were playing never-before-seen attacking football. I don't think any other supporters can empathise with how that period between July and October felt like as a Tigers fan.

Yeah it was like the bounce of every ball ,the call of the refs everything went our way

Nothing was going to stop us in 2005 The one person I felt sorry for was Darren Senter

I know we couldn't have won the premiership with him at hooker , but it would of been nice to have him playing off the bench and see him be a part of it 😢

Obviously 2005 has a few

Round 3 v the bulldogs was massive. We had been very disappointing in round 1 v parra and were playing against the raging hot defending premiers on a big channel 9 game….keep in mind we weren't a 'fan favourite' back then and rarely featured on channel 9\. Our team was choc full of 19,20 and 21 year olds that most league follwers had never heard of. Down 12-0 early and 18-6 just before halftime, everyone was calling us certainties for the spoon. The. We absolutely exploded and put 5 tries on the dogs in something like 20 minutes through brilliant attacking football. It set the scene for the year ahead....

The other game v the dogs later in the year was huge as I believe that game REALLY made everyone know that we were going to be bloody hard to stop.

The shark park game first made people take notice as it was 4th v 5th and we completely destroyed them on their home ground.

07 v Melbourne at Gosford was great, Farah made smith look like a school boy and Lawrence showed what he was capable of.

The 09 Monday night v manly were we lead 19-0 at halftime is still the best HALF of football I've ever seen us play. Against top quality opposition in a must win game.

And in general any game in which we beat the dragons LOL

First game I took my son to, versus melbourne at LO in about 02 or 03….we won 40 to something, I had no car then and had to carry this sleeping 6 yo lump all the way home to maroubra. great day.

Melbourne LO 04...buckets king hit but the forwards firing up afterwards was a highlite for me.

Cowboys at cambo 2005....finally we make the finals

Bay 105 at Telstra in 2005 went off - good times

ink, the game you took your son to, was that the day that slaterr kicked Skando in the melon?

And i'm pretty sure that was the game Hassan Salah did the splits under the goal post as a post try celebration. Made my eyes water

Your favourite Tigers game which **wasn't** in the finals.

For me probably Sharks @ Cronulla, 2005.

me too, i walked away thinking we would win the comp, and we did. Benji and Prince running amok, was aweswome.

The 50-2 against the doggies that year was great as well
