People are pricks in Sydney. Music venues are one of the few places people are friendly and non judgemental.

My hobbies are knitting and gardening. I've knitted since my Aunty taught me when I was 6. I make circular shawls for babies, but they take so long, I'm switching to cardigans, beanies, booties instead. I also make cabled jumpers, and I've almost finished a jacket for me, and am about to start an intricate Aran knit for hubby. I do a bit of crocheting, too, but I'm not real good at it.
Gardening is new, and my former blaxk thumb seems to be a little greenish now. I'm learning what grows in clay and survives frost, drought, and kangaroos! It's very calming, to get your hands in the soil and then see something grow 💚

I got black thumbs.
I’m killing Bonsai these days, just lost about 4 after a 2 year process. But I got four cuttings to give it another crack.

My Hobbies are Slot car racing..for 65 years and R/C racing for last 20 years
I’m of that era when there was a slot car track in almost every suburb.
Until a few years ago my brother had a slot car track, bought from an old shop, that took up his whole garage.
Six tracks (from memory) of fun.
Wow, there's a slot car place in Panania. Always wanted to check it out...
I Garden always have., Orchids are my favourites

I used to drink with a bloke in the blue mountains whose father was an Oz expert on orchids, wrote books apparently. Had green houses across his back yard and was a very smart dude. Amazing flowers.
He was handy too, helped us put a YZ80 motor in a gokart frame, the thing had power-band!!!

My Brother has one in his shed it would be 10m long and has all the bells and whistles. Handmade mini shit everywhere, some kind of handmade diagnostic device and fully automated for racing 4 cars. He loves it.
It bores the crappolla out of me, each to their own, but if I last more than five mins down there the Mrs knows she’s driving home coz I’ve started talking to Mary Jane to stay sane.
