18. Madden (in if Grant isn’t fit)

Benji fullback ... Mbye 7 ... Doueihi 6 .. Brooks is no longer the 7 of choice and not a 5/8 so his selection makes no sense !

Would like to see Talau get a stint at 5/8 in a few remaining games of 2020, see what he offers.
Putting AJ on the wing this week mightn't be the smartest move, the Panthers outside backs are lethal and they will be getting pinpoint kicks to their flanks from Cleary.....might be a long night for the youngster and hammer his confidence going forward. None of our outside backs can catch highballs to save themselves either so we don't have much to lose.
Wonder if McIntyre has it in him to give his old position of centre a go? He's one of our better defenders so will most surely be required to defend in the guts against the brilliant Panthers pack.
We'll get butchered regardless of which team we trot out, time to mix things up a bit and gamble on a few positional changes.

Benji at fullback makes even less sense

1 Moses Mbye
2 David Nofoaluma
3 BJ Leilua
4 Tommy Talau
5 Asu Kepaoa
6 Adam Doueihi
7 Luke Brooks
8 Josh Aloiai
9 Harry Grant
10 Alex Twal
11 Luciano Leilua
12 Shaun Blore
13 Matthew Eisenhuth

14 Jacob Liddle
15 Thomas Mikaele (middle forward)
16 Sam McIntyre (middle forward)
17 Luke Garner (backup centre/2nd row/lock)

Brooks and Doueihi as halves could work if Grant plays a controlling role in the middle like Cam Smith does.
Musgove is due back round 16-18 so may be available

1 - MCK
2 - Lawrence
3 - Blore
4 - Lucy
5 - McIntyre
6 - Liddle
7 - Grant
8 - Joey
9 - Simpkin
10 - Jennings
11 - Nofo
12 - Asu
13 - Doooooohy

14 - Brooks
15 - Tommy
16 - Reynolds
17 - Big Russ (Utility)

We need some speed in the forwards

Garner gone - even if the players kick up a fuss again. Blore in
Packer and his 16m can go as well. Literally anyone is better than him
Reynolds gone - grant in
Benji gone. Asu in talau or mbye to centre or 5/8

1.Kepaoa - apparently can play any postion in the backline why not
2.Nofo - makes sense been one of our consistent players
3.J.Leilua - give him the year see if he can hit form
4.Hoffman - lets see what hes got
5.Talau - still has defensive issues but ive been impressed by hes attack last few weeks
6.Doueihi - his passing game is really good, i think this will be his best postion
7.Brooks - last chance ,Madden next week if it doesnt work out
8.Aloiai - most consistent forward
9.Grant - i dont want to put him here cause hes leaving and it makes no sense
10.Clark - love his defense
11.Garner - his defense needs works but he hits hard and can break the line, i think garner is a great back up player to have around
12.L.Leilua - 2nd best forward
13.Twai -

14.Liddle - been great i dont wanna leave him out of the side, honestly think he should be starting
15.Mikaele - Impact
16.Blore - Impact
17.McIntyre

Would love to see more of Seyfarth
Cini and Simpkin hopefully should get a run too

Deck chairs on the Titanic.
We are not going to make it anywhere near te top 8 this year so might as well experiment.
And issue instructions to the forwards to abandon safe football ... create second phase.
It does not matter much who plays as long as we are using resources that we know are going to be around In our top squad next year including hopefully Grant.

Doueihi, Nofo, J Leilua, Talau, Kepaoa, Mbye, Brooks, Aloiai, Liddle, Twal, L.Leilua, McIntyre, Blore, Mikaele, Grant, Clark, Musgrove
