_ we can't lose another game to right hand edge defense so Kev has to go. Whilst he delivers in attack costs more in tries against and hopeless under the high ball
_ Rankin has experience and a calm head is better suited to center than wing and is committed to the club next year and can kick goals if something happens to Moses
_ MCK is a good defender and we have enough strike out the back from Tedesco to release Simona if given the chance
_ Simona is a better winger than center and good under the high ball
_ want to play the same style as last game against Souths. Sirro can run straight, pass well and has a kicking game. More importantly he is a good defender and could keep Inglis quiet
_ now broses have signed for another year it's time to split them so Brooks goes back to Intrust and Moses gets his chance
_ If Cheerington hasn't gone then he gets a bench spot with Farah Staying in the field and protecting the middle .If he is gone then Liddle gets his chance

5\. Addo-Carr/Hunt if JAC going to Storm

Really? We'd rather send out Justin Hunt, the back up embarrassment than run JAC while he's here. Are we that petty?

Ok so JAC took the money at the storm next season, and we couldn't match it due to our salary cap mess. It happens. That doesn't mean we drop him. Why should we spend our 2016 cap money mothballing Melbourne's new toy? JAC's only value to us now is metres run in 2016, and his development is no longer our concern.

So Addo Carr has to not only play every remaining minute of 2016, he needs to be taking either a kick return hit up or a first tackle dummy half run to start every set, as well as continuing to support Simona in attack and defence. If Brooks wants a rest out wide, it should be JAC who comes in off the wing to make a couple of tackles on their backrowers while brooks takes a breather.

The deal's done regardless, let's put some miles on the clock.

No way, couldn't pick Addo Carr at the expense of the development of another player. I agree he is the best option, ability wise, but we might as well start or keep developing another player.
Rankin, Hunt, Chee Kam and Heleta should all be in the mix. I haven't seen enough of Peni to add him to the mix.

These are NRL premiership games, not trial matches, and you don't write the season off as a development year in round 14\. If we're not putting our best 17 on the park then we're tanking. JAC is our best on the wing, he has to play.

Peni's in cause he's the next bloke to leave if he doesn't get a shot at FG..

Yeah I like the look of this side - good amount of size on the bench.

JAC has had a couple of good games against some scrappy opposition but he still needs development and will have his off days. He can have them at Melbourne. We need to start trying to unearth our next gem (which I think JAC will be) and for a winger I think Peni looks most likely at this stage (Heleta being too short).

Farah can probably play 80 but if for some reason he can't then ET has shown he can do the job there and Sue can come in at lock.

I'd give Rankin a run at centre in NSW cup to see how he goes there.

One problem with that side though is a lack of speed in the back line, so if we ran it out then we should be playing a more direct style up the guts (and the bench suits that).

Interesting that no one is putting Naiqama in the team yet I will 100% guarantee he will stay in the side for this weeks game (barring injury).
JT just does. Not. Get. It.

Agreed, I'm tired of sacrificing bench impact to carry Dene Halatau. The two hookers experiment was a sound enough plan when we were using a young ball runner who was supposed to add some line speed late in the game. Cherrington wasn't that player as it turned out. Taking Farah off and bringing on another old workhorse adds nothing, especially if Halatau's already been used in the forward rotation.

Farah for 80 minutes, with ET as a backup if he does need to be hooked.

Listen Cosimo - that is my team against Souffs - not the official team.

I am entitled I thought to pick MY team and not to have to run it past all the other Forumers.

Yes I picked JAC before I realised he was signed to the Storm - because of this I would put in someone else that wishes to stay at the club. Hunt is not a bad winger, I have seen him a number of times playing for St. George.

If you wish to play JAC that is in your team, not mine or am I only allowed to pick players you approve of????

100% on the money..Taylor will roll out the usual team. Siro must have said something very nasty to him to get dropped

Yep X2 that's a great looking side, I wanna see what Peni can bring to first grade!

I'd be happy if that was the team named. Peni would be about 1000/1 to get picked though.

Fair Call. But when/if we are a mathematical impossibility of making the 8 I would expect JAC to be dropped.

And re tanking; if only we had a draft and tanking was a real thing in this league. At least then we would have a plausible excuse for sucking all these years.

Funny how quickly things can change in footy.
A month ago everyone wanted JAC picked in first grade, but Taylor wouldn't pick him.
Now many of us want him dropped from first grade, but Taylor most likely will pick him.

The reason why WT did not grant JAC an immediate release is because they wanted him to play for the club (first grade?) until the end of June.
