I’d have Walters on the bench. Thought Grant looked done towards end of game

Grant needed a rotation about the 50 min mark and to come back for the last 15 imo

14 Billy Walters

16 Matt Eisenhuth
17 Sam McIntyre (just to see what he has to offer)

If Lucy is out McIntyre to 2nd row, MCK to bench.
We are short 2 good props and one dynamic bench 2nd rower/centre. Clark has made lots of tackles but makes very few meters, Seyfarth has had very little impact.

Your leaving out Reynolds? I don’t know why you would do that.

He was our best player last game. Two points in the dmp’s

1. Doueihi
2. Nofa
3. BJ
4. Talau
5. Bradley
6. Benji
7. JRey
8. Aloiai
9. Grant
10. Musgrove
11. Garner
12. Lawrence
13. Twal
14. Mbye
15. Mikaele
16. MCK
17. Clark

MBye offers very little in attack and Talau is a bigger body to take hit ups. He is also decent out if dummy half.
Seyfarth is not up to standard yet
Clark needs to show more punch from the bench. Potential to swap him and Aloiai

There will certainly be plenty of interest at 4:00pm this afternoon when Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire names his 21-man squad to take on the North Queensland Cowboys this Saturday as the side looks to bounce back from last week's loss to the Canberra Raiders.

After a blunt assessment of his side's performance the week before, Maguire would have been pleased in part with his side's effort and discipline against the competition favourites in Round 5 but still unhappy with the result and momentary lapses.

All attention will now turn to Saturday's crucial clash against the North Queensland Cowboys and what changes will be made to the side for this week's game.

At least two new faces will find their way in to the 21-man squad following the departure of Corey Thompson to the Gold Coast Titans as well as the two-week suspension accrued by Russell Packer, with plenty of options available for Maguire.

Benji Marshall, Luke Garner and Billy Walters were named in the reserves last week could come in to contention while the likes of Robert Jennings, Oliver Clark, Elijah Taylor and Matt Eisenhuth have also been included in 21-man squads this year.

Luciano Leilua was helped off late in the contest with an ankle injury but could be right to play as early as this week, and his inclusion would certainly be a strong boost for a Wests Tigers side gunning for four wins in a row over the Cowboys.

North Queensland come in to the contest after a disappointing defeat to the New Zealand Warriors in Round 5 — a loss compounded by the fact that Valentine Holmes (ankle) and Jordan McLean (calf) could join key veterans Michael Morgan and John Asiata in the casualty ward for the visitors.

Should Holmes be ruled, exciting youngster Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow will likely shift to the back as per last week's in-game change, while the likes of Corey Jensen, Peter Hola and Shane Wright could find their way in to the forward pack.

Prop Tom Gilbert is also suspended for the clash after an incident in Round 5.

Both teams will name their sides for Saturday's game at 4:00pm this afternoon before providing an updated 19-man squad at 5:30pm on Friday.

Final team lists will then be confirmed an hour prior to kickoff (4:30pm, Saturday).

May as well get straight into it:

1. Doueihi - Y
2. Nofoaluma - Y
3. Leilua - Y but not playing great
4. Mbye - Y would not be surprised if dropped at some point
5. Talau - Y
6. Reynolds - Brooks (Reynolds - Given a game on the Bench) 50/50 call
7. Marshall - Y
8. Aloiai - Y
9. Grant - Y
10. Musgrove - Y
11. Garner - Y
12. MCK - N (Lawrence)
13. Twal - Y

14. Clark - Y
15. Mikaele - Y
16. Taylor - N - Reynolds
17. Eisenhuth - N - MCK

Will also depend if Luciano misses a week with Injury?

When you go through the team list and selections it shows we are a couple of players short of having a great team instead of a good team.
Madge should of ear marked this game as a WIN however as a Wests Tigers supporter we watch with interest hoping for a win.
That's my 2 cents worth, suspect i will be close but no cigar....

Thanks Boss.

Looking forward to 4pm today, and a repeated effort like last week with just a bit more polish by our halfback.

i am worried about hamiso tho

if he gets thry we aint catching him

BJ's been quiet since signing...Talau needs to get some more ball in open space and Luke Brooks needs to run a bit more. Reyno brings a lot of energy which is good and Douehi is doing good at preventing tries from kicks and Twal is putting in the effort week in week out.
Keep the team similar to last weeks game, although it was a loss, it was to Raiders, title-contenders, 2019 runners-up...we did decent to hold them to 14 points.
Some players just have to step-up.
