Littlejohn, God love him, is not in the same class as Moses, Tedesco or Brooks for creativity.

We need to move on from the Rankin experiment at dummy half.

….it aint just about getting to the 8 its also about having a team capable of doing something come September.

We played to the best of our ability to beat the Cowboys. BUT, we were at home against a team that historically does not travel well and who were well below par.

Would we be able to compete against the same team at a neutral venue, say the ANZ come September?

We really need a hooker on the bench if we name the same starting 13\. I can see us falling apart if Dene, ET or JLJ goes down.
Everyone knows now that we are using Rankin at hooker in attack and getting him defending on the wing. It won't take much for teams to look to exploit that. You can't rely on a tactic like this in finals.
The tactic may have been okay for a few weeks when we had injuries (Grant, ET) but it cannot be a long term option.
If ET is out, I say put Halatau back to lock and put JLJ at hooker. Rankin goes to 5/8 and JAC or Hunt comes in at wing.
Damn this second tier salary cap. Liddle would've been perfect right now.
