He was outstanding a few weeks ago in state cup...

Came up to the NRL...and did absolutely nothing.

I am a big fan, but he probably is not NRL class.

His work rate makes him stand out in State Cup, but his lack of mobility / speed / inability to bend the line all mean he keeps failing when called up.

BUT... Pole could be a much better "10 min impact player" off the bench both halves.

Yeah, maybe a Yeo type lock roll would be beneficial for Alex. He doesn’t lack enthusiasm and drive but doesn’t quite fit as a front rower or 2nd rower.

He is like Twal but Twal is better defensively. You can't have two players like that on the bench. I think it's hard to have two like that in your team.

Seyfarth is a goer though.

I hope it's not true. We need Doueihi back in the team. If he is fit he should play.

Madge would know if he is fit and to play 80 mins at centre,even if he played 40/60 mins, there is absolutely no way he is match fit to start with...he needs as much time as it takes to get fully fit...people who want him in straight away because he is our best player dont really understand what it takes after an aweful injury as his....Laurie was very wary after his broken leg and it took 3/4 games to get right,then he gets another injury just as he is coming right...
