Shame about AD, I thought he was almost ready to go.
Yep when Brooks moved to 9 we forgot we had a backline. We were looking dangerous with some of those sweeping backline moves in H1 & should’ve had a couple more tries on the board if we held onto the ball. Next minute, Brooks to 9, Madden to 6, and we struggle to make any ground. The same thing happened in the 2nd half before the bye.
Our forwards tire badly in the 2nd half which is why I thought 3 big boppers on the bench would help (until we can buy or develop better). I thought Liddle was good for 60mins, he never gives up but isn’t an 80 min hooker. We can’t ignore Brown anymore especially after his KOE performance. He can give Liddle a spell &/or Joffa. I thought Kepoa & Dias deserve a call up. Not too many more options available but hopefully this team can give a good performance.

I thought Liddle was good last night . The game flipped when madden came on . Not because madden is shit or anything , but brooks moving to dummy half really weakened that edge defensively , and weakened our ruck speed .
All our edge forwards need to go IMO. Garner is a fine utility , but Lucy does absolutely nothing IMO. He’s lazy in defence and never ,ever ever Passes the ball.
Most teams have the first and second players both wrap the ball , and let his legs keep driving , because he doesn’t fight at all to get to the play the ball .
The defence resets , the attack is killed , and now all you can do post a Lucy hit up is a crash ball to reset the attack .
Seriously just get a couple of kids in like the Ms in reserve who have huge raps on them .
They honestly can’t do any worse .
I’ve never seen edge forwards let thier half get so isolated against a player like Oli .
Our halves should be playing in dinner suits like any half ever next to Toni Carroll , Jeremy Smith etc . But nope . Our halves are having to tackle 120kg giants one on one .
That is garbage IMO .

Over the rest of the season debut individually O'Kane, Pole, Kitouga, Tumeth, Matamua. 5 guys over 5 weeks.
Raiders have done it with Harry Rushton and Trey Mooney this year, both 20yr olds.
Just one game, give them a taste, blood some depth.

Nup. Keep them in reserve grade until they are absolutely dominating that level. Our team is just a basket case that will chew up young fellas.
