Good team @Earl
Like Tuilagi in 2nd row and LL off bench for impact.
No Tamou either.
I'm really interested to see what they do with Doueihi.
If we don't sign a new centre - it might force madges hand to play him in the centres.
I agree he should be captain next year, but its not great having a captain who hasn't nailed down his position in the team.
Mr Tamou = Retirement village
Let the younger blokes play
I’ve picked Tamou unless there are changes which were to impact that.
I’ve been thinking a bit about the acquisition of Tamou. We pay him less than mid range salary for a prop. He is a former rep at 2 of the highest levels in the game.
I think there was a plan when we bought him to not buy Tamou for his output but to buy him for his presence.
He was named Captain but since his been here his made every effort to promote/ boost the chances of the younger guys. I think he is there until these guys demand more game time (through ability) and the plan was always to play as long or as little as the team needs in order to assist with the development of the younger brigade. I’d say he will slowly transition to a bench role and then potentially into the second grade. I feel it might of been the plan the whole time.
