Aaron Woods-….....No....Only 17 club has huge raps and hopes for this kid
Jake Mullany-........No.....St Gregs product.....to big an ask at this stage IMO....still eligable for 20's next year....Heard a wisper other clubs are circling though....
Andrew Filita- ......Ummm.....Off the bench as a backrower Maybe....Front Row ....No......State Cup I believe next year for him and his Brother they should split em Andrew...Wests....David BRET......
Prichard-.........Yes......way better than Collis....Runs hard , tackles hard....can find the tryline.....he's a centre but would no doubt handle wing for a game....

Just on Collis is it just me or for a guy with his potential and class...He was a schoolboy Gun...All his first grade experience he can only play right centre...and when the pressure is on he crumbles like a snow flake in the dessert......
 
You would hope that some new players might get a start, but if the end of last year is anything to go by, next weeks team will be very similar to the team that took the field last night. We had 2 games in 2008 when out of finals contension to introduce new players and those who deserved a shot in first grade, but it never happened. How helpful that could have been this year when we were hit with all those injuries mid-season.

Don't think we'll see Lui. Sheens said on ABC Grandstand after the game that Lui will probably drop back to the 20's now that they have made the finals.

Who knows, maybe. We could see Moltzen move back there with someone State Cup to play fullback.
 
We should be innovative and name El Masri on the wing. Just to get a reaction from the NRL :-0
 
All I ask is that we try and unearth a couple of players that can threaten the opposition defence. Players such as Josh Davis, David Gower as a back rower, Willie Mataka and Rhys Pritchard must be given a go. The sooner I see the back of Dean Collis the better, get Lui back to the U/20s, Corey Payne offers us absolutely nothing and as hard as he tries, Danny Galea doesn`t do much for us either !
 
hybryd_tiger what have you got against Pritchard. Have you seen him play?
Do you know he has scored 17 tries for us this season and was selected as centre for the NSW State Residents side.
Would be interested in your comments!
 
I am pretty sure hybrid is making refference to the 2007 season when we played Crocker(?) for zero minutes off the bench when the season was on the line.

Or maybe the tiny bench times Hanbury has played in games this year.

ditch halatau, morris & collis - but ain;t going to happen.
What I would like to see is for Sheens to tell Benji and Farah to not call any plays and force Lui & Moltzen to run the entire show. We need control and organisation and Robbie & Benji aren;t giving that atm in the tight spots. We need to see how Moltzen and Lui go running the show. Hopefully they'll step right up. IF tha happens maybe next year might hold some vague promise.
& tell idiot sheens to swallow his pride & give Laurie an actual go so that they can see whether there's any point in re-signing him or not.

I know it's a completely inexperienced bench but I think we'll benefit next year if these guys have had at least some FG experience and there's no better way to introduce a player into first grade than playing the team coming 2nd.

Incidently Pritchard is not my poster boy, but he sure can play!
 
Looks like Noddy may be out, I'd guess the only player that makes Johnny Morris
look like Alfie langer will don the blue #7- Daniel ''im from perff'' Holdsworth
