Your team for next week vs souths

Our worst fears have arrived. Allan Fallah, Isaac De Gois, Daniel Fitzhenry and more recently, John Morris shown the door and we now have no viable option in the 9 with Farah injured.

I read his groin has worsened to osteitis pubis. He should not even consider playing if that is the case and should have surgery or around 12 weeks of physio. The more he plays/trains, the worse it will become and the longer the rehabilitation. Stop playing now and hopefully be back in two months. It is only round 4 and there is plenty of time.

We just bought George Ndaira…

Their are a few people who have no idea, we are a team under the pump due to injuries. You dont make wild left field selections, you keep it simple and go for experience. Now is not the time to gamble, now is the time you keep it as simple as possible with all the experience you can get your hands on

My biggest issue is hooker Super I remember watching Ndaira play a few times and he has done nothing to make me think he is going to be successful in NRL as is probably proven with Souths letting him go when they did .

I`ll tell you all something, if we persist with Wade McKinnon at fullback all season and persist with picking props and players who lack mobility to play in the second row, we`ll continue to score 2 tries or less each game, we`ll just stifle Benji`s attacking brilliance and with that comes losing games of football.

McKinnon made over 200 metres against the Roosters and was our best player. Give it a rest Vicious.

Need to stop reading the daily rags and stop doom mongering.

Let Robbie and Sheens decide whats best and not the Terrograph.

There are other things to worry about

Would people support Fulton at 9?

I think Fulton would fit the bill, but he's still injured and not due back till R6  -what about Flannagan :bulb:

No doubt I've forgotten someone but…

1 MacKinnon
2 Utai
3 Ayshford
4 Daniela
5 Brown
6 Marshall
7 Moltzen
8 Gibbs
9 Farah
10 Galloway
11 Dwyer
12 Payten
13 Heighington

14 Miller
15 Fifita
16 A Shirnack
17 Woods

I'd support Fults at 9\. He is safe as a house defensively and has good hands. He's not Farah but will still be dangerous around the ruck I reckon.

Problem with Liam at 9 (for me anyway) is I think he is a better hole runner than a passer. He probably has had more passes intercepted than any other player in our team.

i think the team we fielded last week was still strong, good enough to win. its just the new combos we have to work on. remember it was moltz first full 80 minute game in a long while and daniela and browns first nrl game this year, gibbs too. as for farah if the groin isnt troubling him then he must be in some bad form so hopefully this friday he steps up.

we have alot of young forwards having to take alot more responsibility and play more game time than they otherwise would have, they will only improve with each game, imo we still have a good enough team to pick up points till all our troops are back so long as we play well. this 'new' team will gel soon enough, hopefully this fri!

lol that's the same team as last week…we lost :roll :roll

You think we would have won with other players? Gotta pick the best team you can with the players available. Anyway that's what I think Sheens will pick.

Yoss I'm getting old now can't remember any intercepts past the 2010 semi against Roosters

Going by the Bret side, the side this week will be unchanged from sundays 17 and thats a good thing. Theirs no point at this stage chopping and changing we need stability

I don't keep stats but I remember him throwing one in 2005 against the Roosters. Maybe they're the only two times but I still think he'd be wasted at 9 when he is one of our best ball runners. Marshall should be hitting him on the chest rather than getting the ball from Liam.
