How many drinks have you had today sirro? Macka 204m today 2 line breaks and was along way off being our worst :deadhorse:

hahahaha, yeh ill cop that mate. McKinnon was good today, and i wouldnt be dirty if he's picked next week….which he will be. I just want to find a place for Moltz and i think Mckinnon was lucky today and wont do it week in week out. Even when he was in space, i had no confidence in him. But yes, your right, he did enough to hold his sopt.

McKinnon was very good today, but he`s far too slow and his style of play doesn`t suit Benji. If we are to play to our strength, we need to pick a side that suits Benji`s style of play and that would mean Moltzen at fullback.

C'mon guys MacKinnon was one of our best today . I think Benji needed a boot up the butt He tried his guts out . But he needed to be hitting line at speed and creating confusion that way . We were either side to side or trying to outstep and outjink them . When will we realize when we are more direct we rip sides apart

Farah plays down groin issue

Wests Tigers skipper Robbie Farah has played down the severity of his groin problem and insists it will not keep him out of action, despite his inability to train.
>
Farah has been nursing the injury all season but said he felt no discomfort during the game and refused to use it as an excuse for his side's under-par display in their 24-6 defeat to Sydney Roosters on Sunday.
>
"I got through the game fine, I didn't train a lot through the week, but I was fine out there," Farah said.
>
"We will see how I pull up, everybody went a bit overboard with what was said in the papers before the game, but it doesn't bother me during the games, but it is a case of will it become an issue not training for a few weeks.
>
"I'll speak to Tim and see what happens, but it is not affecting me.
>
"I don't think we could have played any worse than we did in the first half, we got ourselves in game but poor options at the back of the sets let us down."
>
Sheens said he'd been using back-up hooker George Ndaira during training to give Farah time to recover and said he had full confidence in allowing his skipper to play the full 80 minutes.
>
"He is watching what is going on in training and we run a replacement which is a bonus, we knew what we were doing when we went out, we were confident … but you have to be tough enough to defend and we weren't today," Sheens said.
>
"Some of our options at the back end of our sets were good, we lacked a bit of direction but I am not going to offer up any excuses, at 12-6 we had enough ball to win the game, but we missed a simple tackle midfield and gave up a try to put the 12 points between us again."
>
Sheens defended his decision to play with Tim Moltzen at halfback after originally naming rookie playmaker Jacob Miller in the starting line-up.
>
The 18-year-old dropped to the bench but Sheens said he was pleased with the contribution he made when he came on late in the game.
>
"Timmy has got the experience and is a very quick halfback, I suppose he needed the run, today he got 80 minutes under his belt for the first time in 12 months, we'll see next week whether he will stay or give Jacob a run," Sheens said.
>
"I spoke to Jacob before the game and told him he may not get a game ... but I rate the kid and at some stage he will play more, but we needed experience on the field."
>
Bryce Gibbs returned for the Tigers for the first time since round 23 last year, but Sheens played down reports England international Gareth Ellis would be back from an ankle injury for next week's clash with South Sydney.
>
"There is no-one who I have been told will be back, Gareth won't be ready next week, no chance," he said.

Robbie better look at the video before he says he was fine out there today . His kicking bar his first one was atricious and the missed tackle was very ordinary . The reason he missed that tackle would of been his groin or lower abs area . When you attempt that type of tackle your looking at using your weight to pull player basically over you ,like a wrestling hip toss .He is restricted with his running game Get the surgery Robbie please !!!!

Whoever we have out wide needs to be a damn good defender as Inglis will be targetting them and I doubt Moltz or Geoff could handle him at all.

1\. Wade McKinnon
2\. Sam Latu(He played well in his last 1st grade game, anyone seen him this yr?)
3\. Blake Ayshford
4\. Gareth Ellis (Has played centre many a time and we need size out wide)
5\. Matt Utai
6\. Benji Marshall
7\. Jacob Miller
8\. Andrew Fifita
9\. Robbi Farah
10\. Keith Galloway
11\. Todd Payten (more for his defence)

I don't really know who to start between Moltzen and Miller. Moltzen was clearly underdone, but may be better for the run now. Suffice to say, whichever halfback gets picked they need to stay as halfback. There will be no cohesion in the side if there is contant chopping and changing.

I honestly can't believe you are seriously suggesting we drop McKinnon for Moltzen at fullback.

Assuming the worst with Farah:

1\. McKinnon
2\. Latu
3\. Ayshford
4\. Brown
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Miller
13\. Heighington
12\. J. Schirnack
11\. Payten
10\. Galloway
9\. Ndaira
8\. Gibbs

14\. Moltzen
15\. Fifita
16\. Woods
17\. A. Schirnack

Daniela was woeful. I'd be inclined to say give him another go however he was far from average yesterday. Definitely the worst I've seen him play and unless he is going to play right centre I wouldn't start him again this year. Brown tried his guts out with the ball in hand, but he was clearly outclasses by the Chooks in defence. Dwyer needs a stint in reggies to pull his head in. Lazy tackles, loose carries and out and out misses in defence (his shirt-grabbing attempt on Kennedy was woeful,) and he needs an attitude adjustment by running for BRET for a fortnight. It won't happen though since we're so injury riddled.

1.McKinnon
2.Brown
3.Daniela (had a poor game but i think he deserves another go)
4.Ayshford
5.Utai
6.Marshall
7.Moltzen (another one that deserves another go but after yesterday Lui is first choice 1/2 & day light second)
8.Fifita
9.Farah (he does look injured but if he can wait for the op i would wait at least until Lui or Fulton return)
10.Galloway
11.Payton
12.Moors (im pretty sure he is ready to return)
13.Heignington

14.Nidera (not sure of the spelling but cover for Farah
15.Gibbs
16.Woods
17.Dwyer (In some bad form & with possible return of ellis he would be the first forward dropped)

1.mackinnon
2.latu
3.ayshford
4.davis
5.utai
6.marshall
7.moltzen
8.gibbs
9.ndaira
10.galloway
11.ellis
12.payten
13.heighnington

14.fafita
15.dwyer
16.woods
17.schirnack/politoni

Matt Ryan to replace Daniella

If Ellis is back Schirnack to stay on the bench and Dwyer to go

A backup to Farah on the bench that actually gets used

I agree with needing to defend the left side a lot better but not with a back rower at centre - none of ours are fast enough. Simply put Ellis on the left edge to defend alongside a bigger player like Brown. And forget starting a prop in the 2nd row - that ain't gonna happen!

we always say that payten is a playmaker in a forwards body…so if farah is out..why not play him as one? he is a great defender, good stamina and has enough experience to know not to overplay his hands.
It may put some pressure on Moltz and Benj as far as playmaking goes but i think it could work!

I would run with this side.

1\. Wade McKinnon

I agree with most people's comments that Daniela was rubbish and needs to be dropped.
Dwyer also rubbish and needs time in State Cup.

I would pick Latu on the wing, Brown in the centres, Miller at half back, Ndaira as hooker and
Woods to start as prop.

Bench would be

Ellis (as he has not played this year)
Fifita (prop rotation)
Payten (prop rotation)
Moltzen. (Sheen's last 10 minutes player)

Pack would be

Heightington
Schirnack
Gibbs
Galloway
Ndaira
Woods
