Your team for next week vs souths

I think Gibbs is a must in the back row and on the right edge. The thought of Dwyer marking Dave Taylor with Inglis on his hip is not a pleasant one

Personally i would like to see this team run out on Friday night

1\. McKinnon
2\. Brown (marking Talanoa)
3\. Ayshford (marking Inglis)
4\. Clarke (marking Farrell)
5\. Utai (marking Merritt)

6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen

8\. Fifita
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. A Schirnack
12\. Gibbs
13\. Heighington

14\. Ndaira
15\. Dwyer
16\. Payten
17\. Woods

Farah isnt right so should be given a rest from 30 - 50 mins the bring back on for last half hour

Bazz will be surprised if Farrell plays, he had a slight shoulder dislocation on Friday and Merritt had issues late also .

Perfect, but I would have Mullany in the number 17\. With how the guys have been going down injured, Sheens is right to have a back on the bench. We need someone like Mullany to score us some points in the last 20 or so..

Maybe put brown in the centeres with ayshford & daniella on the wing. also if ellis comes back give dwyer a stint in reserves or bring him off the bench to let him get some confidence back.

7\. Moltzen
9\. Jacob Miller

They can switch roles if things aren't working out.
Im confident that Miller will do a much better job then Farrah's kicking game last week out of dummy half.

CC why play a guy on start debut in a position that he is not comfortable with against one of the biggest most talented forward packs in comp ?? Same starting side as roosters game but leave it that way and put Dwyer in centres and add forward to bench to replace Daniela Hopefully Ellis will be back 😛ray:

I totally understand what you are saying. But lets face it, our injury toll is the worst of any club at the moment & there isnt ever going to be a 'good time' to shift players & trial them in other positions.

He is a young talented play maker who like any other youngster would be happy to be given a chance to prove there worth & get a regular run in 1st grade. We dont know if he would be comfortable playing there or not, but as i stated above, if things arent working out, he & Moltz can switch roles.

Having Benji, Moltz & Miller as a combination should provide plenty of speed & attacking opportunity.

we always say that payten is a playmaker in a forwards body…so if farah is out..why not play him as one? he is a great defender, good stamina and has enough experience to know not to overplay his hands.
It may put some pressure on Moltz and Benj as far as playmaking goes but i think it could work!

no

I know the Tigers have some injury problems but that side is absurd. A front rower from the NYC who has never played first grade being named in the centres and another prop/backrower who weighs 107kg at hooker :crazy

Their are a few people who have no idea, we are a team under the pump due to injuries. You dont make wild left field selections, you keep it simple and go for experience. Now is not the time to gamble, now is the time you keep it as simple as possible with all the experience you can get your hands on

Can someone provide some details about Sam Latu in respect of his most recent form as I have seen him play on a few occasions and my first thoughts were that he is just a park footballer1
Now I may be off the mark but how does he compare with Tuquiri, Tuiaki, Ryan etc? It is a big step up from the NSW Cup and not many come and stay.

I`ll tell you all something, if we persist with Wade McKinnon at fullback all season and persist with picking props and players who lack mobility to play in the second row, we`ll continue to score 2 tries or less each game, we`ll just stifle Benji`s attacking brilliance and with that comes losing games of football.

I havent seen enough of him but I was impressed with him in the game he played for us last year against Souths before he got injured. Havent seen him play this year but if his in decent form he is worth picking imo.

We need Ellis back, he will make a big difference when he gets some fitness. Hopefully his back against Gold Coast

Our worst fears have arrived. Allan Fallah, Isaac De Gois, Daniel Fitzhenry and more recently, John Morris shown the door and we now have no viable option in the 9 with Farah injured.

I read his groin has worsened to osteitis pubis. He should not even consider playing if that is the case and should have surgery or around 12 weeks of physio. The more he plays/trains, the worse it will become and the longer the rehabilitation. Stop playing now and hopefully be back in two months. It is only round 4 and there is plenty of time.
