I've been thinking about the side for weeks now. The absence of football and the presence of cricket has been driving me insane :imp:.
I've decided we would gain more with Moltzen at fullback as opposed to Brown or Mckinnon. I've opted for Brown on the wing instead.
I think with the depth we have and the mix of youth and experience we can afford to mix things up a bit. Maybe by starting Dywer and moving Payten to the bench so there is always a steady head on the field, thus mixing the youth with the experience.
I CANT WAIT FOR MARCH

Moltzen at 1 and Brown on the wing could work well, with Moltzen no1 in attack and maybe interchanging with Brown in defense. Browns got the build, pace and catching ability to make a top class winger

1\. McKinnon (no match fitness for Moltz)

5\. Brown (same problem for Tuiaki - is he even ready?)

6\. Can't remember his name - (Jokes - Marshall of course)

10\. Gibbs
11\. Heighno
12\. Ellis
13\. Fulton

14\. Fifita
15\. Dwyer
16\. BMM
17\. Payton

I know it's round one I just wouldn't want to risk putting Moltzen and Tank on the field at the same time given lack of any real footy for a long, long time.
PLEASEEEEE no trial game major injuries, loving the depth this year tho.

McKinnon was bought as a speacilist No 1 and injury free will start the season there ..Moltzen is the number 3 choice IMO at 1.

I have no idea how people can have Moltzen at fullback, he is woeful there, it seems people just want to get him in the team somewhere, but in an important position like fullback I'd like to have a specialist there.

1\. McKinnon
2\. Brown
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah

MM pretty close mate but imo i would switch lui and Moltz, just easing Moltz in slowly, And maybe TNT if fit, Although I do like Brown, Where do we fit them all ? Geez isn;t it great to have so many different combinations,? I JUST LOVE IT, BRING IT ON .

Moltzen 12 games at 1/2 back…...12 victories. He is the real deal guys. Cant see us retaining Moltzen and Lui for too much longer.

I agree with the future laying with one player. If the central coast is given the go ahead, they will have massive salary cap concessions to help them be competitive, and they have already signalled Moltzen is part of their plans being a CC junior.

I don't want to lose the guy, but I prefer Lui in all honesty as a first choice halfback as I believe he is getting better with every game and there's a great possibility that Moltzen will return "home."

I would probably start Tuiaki in NSW Cup, the guy has been out of action since August 2009, which is a long time out of the game, will take him a while to get back into it. Moltzen can start, and be taken off for Lui during the games if he can't go 80, I think Lui would be a strike weapon off the bench, with his speed and strength, he could make a big impact coming into the game. I must say I am loving the depth too, 2011=year of the tiger. :sign:

Fact:
Speed, Lui :unamused:

Opinion:
I like your idea MM, but I would say do the opposite. Lui to start at half and Moltz to come off the bench.

And if we see that Tigers are in a winning position, then towards the end of the game, I say replace Moltzen with Benji as I am just too scared of losing this guy. If Moltzen starts to impress, then maybe he can start at half.

But as people say, Tank hasn't played a game for a while and thus he can't perform at his best, hence same applies to Moltzen. I simply hate putting Moltzen at no.7 round 1\. Halfback is a way bigger position than wing.
