i think daniela should take utai's spot. apart from that keep it. the only other one id consider replacing would be mckinnon, but there isnt really anyone who stands out to replace him - although he could play himself into form.

I'm glad nobody has selected Utai in their team. I can't believe we signed this guy, he is injury prone, on the fringe of turning 30 and hasn't been on the field the full season for 5 or 6 years now, crazy. I think he has a lot of potential, but I'm not sure if this signing will benefit the club, could turn out to be similar to the Cayless signing.

What is the go with Payten? After seeing Woods and Fifita going ok, I struggle to play Payten with no Trial under his belt, but I also cant see him strapping up for BRET. Do we know if he is right for Round 1?

i know thats the problem im seeing. woods looks so promising but in a full strength side where would you put him!? same goes for brown. i would love for him to be in the squad but i cant see sheens picking him over the likes of mckinnon, moltzen and even utai

I feel Brown will be ahead of Utai for the Right Wing, and the only reason Utai played last night was due to Brown's & Ryan's injury and a chance for Sheens to see where he is at…

I like this team for Rd 1 and Galloway to me didn't look half as good as he is. He should've been playing State Cup a couple of games when he came back from injury, therefore he took loads of time to get back to his best. I really hope Sheens sends him to state cup for a couple of games, get his confidence up and inject him back with Moltzen.

if fit payten needs to be there. his attack may not be as good as woods or fifita but his defense sure as hell is alot better

Paytens experience is vital. His ball playing abilities are also greater than Fifita or Woods.
Depending on where Moltzen plays we may see all three in the side come round 1

I reckon Payten and Woods should take turns being in the team. Payten's experience and defence is important as people said but this will be more important come finals time. Woods needs gametime, he is one of the best young props in the comp, and he needs to be in the team most of the time. I stand by what I said about this being Payten's last year so he can make way for Woods and other young aspects.

im expecting moltzen to come off the bench to replace mckinnon at some stage in rd 1 or whoever is selected on the wing pushing ayshford out to the wing allowing moltz to play in the centres.

Payten is still signed for 2012 but whether or not Sheens throws him straight in without any match fitness for round 1 is another question. I wouldn't risk it and I'm confident the likes of Dwyer and Woods will handle anything the Bulldogs throw at them.

Moltz will probably be giving mckinnon brakes the 1st 2 - 3 rounds, then move into Fullback i think….

dont be so sure. this was a problem against parra in the trial. our young guns were getting to tired and slow around the play the ball and they just carved us up down the middle. this week with the experience of gibbs, fulton etc our defense around the ruck was much better. payten will definitely help us out with this cause. Though Dwyer and Woods are coming along very nicely!
