If last years trial is anything to go by im hoping the 1st trial will have a fair few new faces in the squad.

1\. Brown
2\. Sauvao
3\. Ayshford
4\. Daniela
5\. Latu
6\. Lui
7\. Moltzen
8\. Gibbs ©
9\. Politoni
10\. Fifita
11\. Flannagan
12\. Fulton
13\. Hyland

14\. Murdoch
15\. Woods
16\. J. Shirnack
17\. Mullaney

What team would you guys like to see?

As many of the squad who are fit to go.

I would be wary of sending Moltzen for a first hit out on such a unsure surface with the amount of rain they have had etc

I want to see as close to the Round 1 starting side as possible. Al lease for 1 of the halves.

Cant see any point in risking Ayshford, Moltzen, Woods & Fulton up there, considering all had a history of leg injuries in 2010\. I'm sure we wont see a close starting team for round 1 until the Foundation Cup…

Pretty good selection there BT. I would probably put Ryan in the squad too so the coaches can get some comparison between him and the other wing options like Brown/Latu.

im with you for not seeing a starting team till at least trial #2\. I believe Moltz should be in the trial so he can get back into form before round 1\. Woods and Ayshford are there as i am expecting big things from them in 2011…woods should especially be there if he wants a crack at 1st grade. Fulton for some leadership in the forward pack alongside gibbs...never thought i would see dumb and dumber leading a squad..

Pretty sure the Tigers will field a weaker strength team just like they did last year. They won't risk the big names so I expect the likes of Benji, Farah, Lawrence, Lote, Heighno, Ellis, Galloway etc to roll out against the Eels at Campbelltown.

We'll probably see Akeripa, Moors, Dwyer, Fifita and co get a run in the engine room with the likes of Daniela, Latu, Brown, Mullaney get a run in the backs.

I believe Sama Sauvao may not have been retained!

Please correct me if I am wrong - I hope we have kept him!

please tell me this is a joke!

No joke mate - but my grapevine a couple of months back suggested that having passed the eligible age for NYC in 2011 - Sama has not been picked up by either Wests or BRET and may be a free agent!!

I hope it is just misinformation because I also rate him highly!

Id give Daniela a run at fullback just to satisfy my own curiosity. I have a feeling his kick returns could be quite dangerous, and im sure his speed being used all over the park would pose many dangers. Marshall hitting Daniela with an inside ball, then hitting him later with an out ball just seems to sit well with me for some reason.

Fullback is certainly an open position, with Moltzen, Mackinnon, Brown and Mullaney, but maybe the right fit could be with the short but powerful and speedy Daniela
