Your team to face the Panthers

Given the form Benji is in, and the lack of form by Payten, I'm wondering why you've decided to go with that option BB. Payten can barely run at the moment, and David Fifita…he'd be lucky to last 10 minutes.

I see this as a game where we can experiment a bit.

Benji out wider would be interesting but Benji can have an overriding call and be 1st, 2nd or 3rd receiver at will. It would also get the ball in Fults hands more. We need to develop some alternate ball skills for the semi's in case of injury.

You are right about Payten. But He needs a good run and I'd start him to seebhow he handles the hectic opening pace. If he can't handle it then he should be considered as 18th or 19th man in the ensuing weeks.

Andrew Fifita's form has been poor for BRET. David Fifita has been outstanding for Wests. He has smashed some NRL standard players in the last 6 weeks. I would put them both on the bench to get the competitive brotherly spirit out in them to out do each other. Either way, Andrew needs a run or two in first grade before the Semi's as he may be used in those games if we get injuries.

Brown is our best fullback option.

Josh Davis needs a taste and is a better option than Groat or Moltzen. He is a top utility and deserves a chance to play in top company so we can at least see what he can do.

All these 'alternate' selections I have made are to counter what I believe will be a very big and physical Panthers side.

1\. McKinnon (we need a real fullback in the team)
2\. Brown
3\. Ryan (he's our real utility - will play his guts out anywhere)
4\. Ayshford
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Eliis
12\. Fulton
13\. Heighington

14\. Moltzen (if we really have to :brick: but would prefer Moors against his old club)
15\. Woods
16\. Payten (not in great form but, cannot underestimate the importance of his mere presence in the team)
17\. Groat

Flippedy Dude, please

That is the Fonz's 17.

Throw something else up brother.

No Bug, it might be similar because I don't think it would be wise to mess too much with a winning team, but Fonz would have Moltzen starting as fullback, Ryan back on the wing, McKinnon on the bench, even though he can only play 1 position, no Brown and wouldn't even contemplate playing Moors in first grade!

This is what Sheens will pick:

1\. McKinnon
2\. Ryan
3\. Ayshford
4\. Moltzen
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Brown
15\. Payten
16\. Woods
17\. Groat

This is what I would pick:

1\. Brown
2\. Ryan
3\. Ayshford
4\. Simona
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Moltzen
15\. Payten
16\. Woods
17\. Groat

so why hasn't Teflon given one of the centres from the NSW Cup at least a look in..we have 2 teams therefore 4 centres , and what, not one of them can even get a look in ?.. Moltzen , not a centre, Simona, a kid, Brown , on the outer and off form. This is the problem with Teflon…its good to be loyal to your top 17 ( thats a joke ) but he has to trust and encourage players from the next tier down.

I'd go with Ryan right centre Brown outside him.I flip Ashford and Utai to the left…moltzen or Mcfumble As good or bad as each other...

Jake Clarke is the best option and needs a chance in the Top Grade incase Lawrence doesnt return/re-injures before the GF…

If he wants to stick with Moltzen, he needs to move Ayshford to Left Centre and play Moltzen at Right Centre. Right is his natural side and he will be more effective.

Unfortunately, if McKinnon is shot between now and the Finals, Moltzen will automatically move back to FB, so I'd just bring in a specialist Centre as the Finals are fast approaching... Jake Clarke is the man... Sheens, make it happen!!!

All these people suggesting Ayshford move to the left… Do you remember what happened last time he got moved from the right? Justin Hodges owned him all night. Don't fix what isn't broken, leave him there. IMO Simona, Brown or Ryan will all do the job ably, although I'd prefer Simona or Ryan with Brown outside.
