Personally I don't like how he's unpredictable. I think now that there's genuine creativity with Galvin, Sezer and Deouhi I don't think you need it. He breaks play down and often loses his head, giving away stupid penalties. If he just plays a boring role, makes his tackles and runs hard I'm happy, provided he doesn't lose focus.I like how unorthodox Bateman is but if he comes back would like him to run hard and straight more often in attacking formations.
Olam defending Manu or Young would be the death of us. Naden tooRoosters will likely have Manu & Dom Young on right side with Jennings/Ethan King & Tupou on left side.
I'd go Olam & Naden (with Sam Fainu) on our left side this week with Doueihi & Staines on right side (with Bateman).
Better alternatives?Olam defending Manu or Young would be the death of us. Naden too
Injury report during the week said back Round 17Is there actual info on Bateman being available? Noticed him in a few of people’s teams but casualty ward had him TBC returned date

I would be happy for that pack and bench. Is Bateman back? Please no.
Some things to consider for Benji with Twal and Klemmer back I assume. How does he get 2 middles into the 17?
Does anyone else agree that both Seyfarth and Sione Fainu have been engaging the line just as well as Matamua? Fainu is quite good at it.
So I'd use those 2 in the lock role, allowing Twal and Klemmer to come back in for Matamua and Kit.
