* Even though Utai is winger, he subs for a hard running forward off the bench. He does the forward runs, and goes to wing in defence. Beau Ryan goes in the middle in defence and back outside for attack.
* I love Groat, but Manly isn't a good team to play so early in your first grade career. They wold target him.
* Fulton named at 5/8th as he is a super defender just off the ruck. You cant hide both Benji & Lui in defence.

Having said all this, the team will probably be the same as last week.

Thats why I have Brown on the bench. If Moltzen screws up, he can always replace him. And as for Utai, I'd probably let him have another week to recover and that way he'll be in top shape to face the dragons.

Recover from what?

The team will be the same as last week. Sheens at his best.

Moltzen at fullback over Brown anyday for me, Moltzen actually threatens the line on kick returns and for all those questioning his defence that try saver from him was the best tackle by a tiger all year for me. Ryan over Utai because Beau has to be rewarded for his efforts the last 2 weeks, for a winger of his size and with the head injury he was carrying to be thrown into the middle like that and put in such an effort was outstanding. Groat or Fifita I really dont mind as long as we have some size to match Manly.

Your team looks good dermo as it is a combination of what Sheens will probably stick with from last game and the need for a big bench against manly. Utai on the bench covers forwards as well as wing. 17 could be between Groat or Fifita or BMM although I'm not sure if any of these last 3 are injured.

Lisa, Dwyer on the right was the issue. Ellis and Fulton are both very able defenders, although as well as Ellis being a partner for Lui in defense, they form quite a formidable combination with Lui's running/passing and can put Ellis through the gap.

Lawrence and Lote are both good defenders, both are probably tentative from long term injuries which is to be expected.

I think u hit the nail on the head Dwyer is still young and he takes the wrong option in defence sometimes fulton is wiser and that is the difference.Lui has got better and he will improve as he also gets older.

Lawrence 5 missed tackles 5 5 5 5 5 & nobody seems to care?

Bob, people would have noticed and cared but my view is one of admiration for Lawrence for coming back so soon from the very serious injury he suffered earlier this year and as a result it will take him a while to gather confidence. The good thing about Chris IMO is his professional and dedicated approach to his football and as a result I'm sure he would be well aware of the tackles he missed and would be working hard on his defence to rectify and improve.

And all iam saying is lui is getting better week by week and if they have a good second rower next to him it will help him out ,look what scott has done for soward.

Im glad that Sheens picks the team and not members of this forum otherwise we'd be with the Gold Coast propping up the bottom of the table.

Moltzen and Lui got invited to the Origin train on squads for a reason. They need time to get experience and will make mistakes like every player does, even the alleged superstars.

To think that some people on this forum want them replaced.

Please, keep up the dribble because its amusing.

Exactly what i was thinking, and im a fan of Groat, Fifita and BMM although Fifitas last few showings have been pretty poor, his runs a really lacking the usual impact and the kid really needs to lift his work rate, something that i think Groat does very well. I like BMM although he could be injured
