Sorry I couldn't wait….
\
\
1\. Teddy (hopefully a week off will help his recovery)
2\. Koro
3\. Simona
4\. Lawrence
5\. Nofo
6\. Marshall
7\. Anasta (take the kicking duties)
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Blair
11\. Fulton
12\. Siro
13\. Sue

14\. Galloway
15\. Buchanan
16\. Ava
17\. BMM

If teddy needs more time off I'd move Simona to fb & bring aysh back into the centre's. Fults can move to hooker if Robbie needs a break after origin.

Good side mate, mine is almost the same:

1 Tedesco
2 Nofoaluma
3 Simona
4 Lawrence
5 Koroibete
6 Marshall
7 Brooks
8 Woods
9 Farah
10 Blair
11 Fulton
12 Sironen
13 Sue

14 BMM
15 Galloway
16 Seumanafagai/Buchanan
17 Thompson

- Time for Siro to move into the backrow. We desperately need a halfback, so Brooks.
- if Brooks not able to play due to salary cap, I would play Anasta there and give him the kicking duties (both general play and goal kicking)
- Marshall should be banned from kicking, especially for touch
- Galloway eased back in off the bench, should give us some impact
- I'd rotate Ava and Buchanan for the rest of the year. I'd also consider trying Buchanan at lock at various points in the game.

id like to see this side next week and for the rest of the year

I would mainly go with the Team from last night, with just a couple of changes, Brooks to half if not Anasta to Half. The other change would be Sirro to lock & find a spot on the bench for BMM & Sauce if fit.

So besides his height would someone please explain why on earth Ashford should become a forward.

He is a reacher grabber in defence - struggles to commit his body
He did not play there as a junior
He does not run hard unless in space - terrible as second hit up after a kick return
He is not THAT big

So it was speculated before the start to the 2012 season and ever since it has gone around. Anyone remember the other stupid speculation at the beginning of last year.

Completely agree, it is an absurd suggestion. Almost Sheens-like.

Good team. I would just cop the fine for Brooks. Surely a second tier breach will be 10-20k.

BMM is on life support in my mind. Too many penalties and errors. Sooooo much potential!

Does anyone know if Pettybourne leaving frees up any room in the cap this year? If Siro moves to the pack, does this make space in the halves for Brooks.

Sorry I'm a bit confused how the cap actually works now. It sounds like there is some link between positions for the second tier cap.

I am very very frustrated by the inflexibility and the lack of pragmatism around the cap.

Any there cap barriers now to stop Brooks from playing first grade?

The tigers would need to get Nrl approval to play brooks and without injuries to Sironen and Anasta it prob wont happen unfortunately. Given that my side for next game

Tedesco
Nofoaluma
Ayshford
Lawrence
Simona
Marshall
Anasta
Blair- into lock and stays in the middle of the field where he is best
Fulton
Sue - IMO could be even better with a bit of room on the edge and you know he'll still work hard
Woods
Farah
Galloway

Seumanufagai
Buchanan
Sironen - he should start playing edge back row off the bench to get him ready for next year
Thompson or Reddy - If potter does want to try Reddy in the back row then this would work and to be honest I like the idea

1\. Tedesco
2\. Koroibete
3\. Simona
4\. Lawerence
5\. Nofoaluma
6\. Marshall
7\. Brooks
8\. Woods
9.Farah
10.Blair
11,Fulton
12\. Sue
13, Sironen
14\. BMM
15\. Seumanufangai
16\. Buchanan / Galloway ( If galloway is fit)
17\. Anasta

I think bmm, should miss out, still a hell of a lot he needs to work on!

Galloway in to cover him, Blair can cover backrow with Anasta if needed. But prefer to keep Blair in the middle for the extra work his has been able to show!

Tedesco? Really?

Give me a break.

He was terrible yesterday but how many chances did molten get?

Give him time, he'll be better for it in the long term. Everyone who played yesterday deserves another chance

He wasn't terrible at all he was very very good last night. He took several towering bombs that Moltzen would have let bounce, threw himself into the line as usual, cut down a couple of line breaks, scored a try backing up from nowhere and miraculously reeled in a freak kick despite slipping over. He conceded a 40/20 that everyone including Slater and Inglis would have, saved a 40/20 that not many players would have and got wrong footed by a prop albeit a prop who has the best footwork in the game for a prop.

You are objectively wrong about his performance. It was his best in our colours imo. Looked every bit a first grader and I usually reserve my compliments on him. Without him last night we'd have probably had 50 put past us imo.

Yeah agreed I thout he showed real fullback class again last night and was prob in our top 5 ont he field . Yes he missed Fifita but he went one way and the bloke went the other it happens and it happens to Billy slater and it happens to Greg inglis, it used to happen to Hodgo and the one on one defence against a player at speed, 120kg with a known step and fend while the fullback has to jaut kind of wait for him means you are on a hiding to nothing

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Lawrence
4\. Ayshford
5\. Simona
6\. Marshall
7\. Brooks (if we get that exemption)
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Sue
13\. Blair

14\. Sironen (would make a dynamite utility, can play everywhere bar fullback and wing imo)
15\. Seumanufagai
16\. Thompson
17\. Buchanan

Anasta offers nothing to this side. BMM can't be carried in defence. For a big body he's soft as a pillow when tackling and we can't handle it when we're not a very good defensive side anyway.

Have had this discussion in three thread Mac lol. Lets just see how he backs up against warriors and reserve our judgement till then
