Some players thrive under the pressure. Maybe Madge thinks throwing him in there will make him prove himself. Hope he does well

I guess sometimes you have to take a chance and see what happens. We can't keep flogging dead horses like Lawrence and expect him to kill it. I think if he plays he'll come off the bench.

Only thing I can think is , whilst the dogs try hard , and hit really hard , they can’t maintain that for any sustained period , so they float in and out of intensity (sounds familiar) . There’s not enough in the skills positions IMO. So maybe Madge feels this might be a good opportunity to blood a player , who whilst will get NRL intensity for portions of the game , probably won’t for the whole game.

Realistically, I see this as a 50/50 game that could go either way. It would disappoint me, but not surprise me to see us lose by up to 20 points. Then again we could win by up to 20 points.

If I was a betting person (I'm not) but Dogs at that price (I'm guessing $2.50?) would be worth it.

Well done to Blore if he has been selected and I agree with @Tcat. It can only be beneficial for us as a team (going forward) because it further tests the team's overall strength, and gauges the player's ability AND how they give back to the club - or take their opportunity and make the most of it.
Like every other NRL player before him, he now has the chance to prove what sort of player he is and what makings he has.

I don't know if it's from the buzz of having someone like Harry Grant in the team doing this exact thing...but I want us to set a strong foundation for our future and have a playing group that exudes nothing but confidence, professionalism and competitiveness. Before we even go to market for players this club should do what we failed to do before and examine each and every one of the players on our books, and really see how they fit in the future of the club/team.
Our clean-outs as well as recruitment has been a little substandard over recent years.

Good point, but really, there's no team we find easy beats. I'd rather debut him vs Dogs than Roosters or Storm.

Better to play someone who might be good rather than play someone we know isn't.
