i dont mind to see some variations like sue and taupau swapping places or hoeter/noffa replacing lawrence with him knocking lovett off the bench.

sucks that with over a 1/3 of the season gone, we can't seem to find the right balance or the consistency even without injuries.

Like your 17 however I would swap Galloway and Ava. Need Galloway's experience when Woods is off.plus I want more from Ava

This is what we should be running out with. Although I would keep Galloway starting and Lodge on the bench for now. But look to start Lodge soon. I would also have Taupau starting and Halatau on the bench.

I think this bench offers much more impact. Ava clearly looks fit enough to handle the first 20, and Sue's defence around the ruck is good and he has a good workrate also. Taupau to come on after 20 minutes for Sue, and Galloway to come on for Ava, Lodge for Woods and Lawrence is there in case of any backs going down, but otherwise to give Lovett a spell in the second half.

I would LOVE for Taupau to go back to the bench. It is so much better for the team overall; cant believe that Marty himself seems to be caught up with the now out-dated notion of prestige associated with being in the first 13 rather than part of the team of 17.

Still want Galloway starting though; dont be put off by his performance against the Rorters as he was clearly feeling that shoulder injury.
