I’m worried about Talau.
He couldn’t accelerate once his leg was strapped & has had issues this year.

With BJ going to be suspended & Jennings injured for a few more weeks, add in Mbye injured we have a few issues in the forward and back depth that will be found out.

Same with douehi

He was running on a treadmill

I don’t think Douehi has pace. His field coverage is slow. His effort is their but his speed to recover and act isn’t high.

He is found out defensively often hence why teams play middle, right then come left and kick behind our line and have a high success rate.

He is safe and very smart footy player but speed isn’t an attribute of his.

McIntyre cleared of facial fracture

Doubt he plays, short turnaround and with the concussion protocols he’ll be a slim chance. Same goes for Luciano.

Changes to starting side from last week:
Talau to Centre, Hoffman to wing.
Lawrence to start for Lucy (if out).

Bench:
14. Mikaele
15. Packer
16. ET
17. Blore (if Sam out)

Yeah, I'd doubt McIntyre plays this week either. Maguire said Luciano should be right in the press conference though.

MBye seems to have a recurrent leg injury problem. Are there doubts as to whether he will be fit for next week?

He had his knee bent backwards with the weight and force of a player's body, so would be a fresh injury for mine and reckon he will be okay for next weekend.

Okay

Potentially no mclntyre, probably no BJ

And maybe no LL as well ( Madge was hopeful in the pressie he was good)

You would think Packer would come in against the bigger rabbits forward pack as for the rest idk

‘Hooper Report on Fox’
Wests Tigers centre Joey Leilua is looking at a minimum four week ban after being hit with a grade three dangerous contact charge for his shot on Panther Dylan Edwards.

The Tigers firebrand is looking at six weeks on the sidelines if he fights the charge unsuccessfully at the NRL judiciary.

Pretty sure that the strapping was removed midway through the second half and he finished the match without needing it. We certainly don't want to lose another middle forward, though McIntyre must be in serious doubt for the weekend.

1. Doooeyyy
2. Nofa
3. Lawrence
4. Mbye
5. Talau
6. Grub
7. Brooks
8. Garlic Sauce
9. Grant
10. Mikaele
11. LL (Huth if no LL)
12. Garner
13. Huth (Taylor to lock if LL injured & Huth to edge)
14. Packer
15. Blore

Didn't seem to be a slow coach when he made the break down the side line.

He got picked up by a back rower..giving 15m headstart

I think it was smart actually cause a Pamfers player was taken out..had Doueihi gone the length they could have gone back and checked as it was it was play on..

1. Adam Doueihi
2. David Nofoaluma
3. Moses Mbye
4. Tommy Talau (natural position)
5. Reece Hoffman/ Zac Cini
6. Josh Reynolds
7. Luke Brooks
8. Thomas Mikale
9. Harry Grant
10. Josh Aloaia
11. Luciano Leilua
12. Luke Garner
13. Matthew Esienhuth

14. Michael Chee Kam
15. Russell Packer
16. Oliver Clarke
17. Elijah Taylor

This is without BJ and McIntyre - if Luciano is out then play Aloaia on the edge with Huth at the front row - moving ET at lock then play Chris Lawrence off the bench

Player: Joey Leilua

Club: Wests Tigers
Opponent: Penrith Panthers
Charge: Grade 3, Dangerous Contact
Early Plea: 4 match ban
Result: to be advised.
