17. Blore/Benji

If Leilua is out Lawrence to the bench and MCK to start. Rabbits dislike hard running teams And have a weak bench so I’d start with Aloai and Mikalele up front.

I could see this game being helpful with Benj on the bench for spark and also kicking as Latrells positioning is not great Marshall’s bombs could be dangerous in this game.

I think benji to centre , Blore to the bench , and Lawrence to 11. MCK like him or hate him is versatile , so yea I think Blore and Packer to fight over the 17th man

There's a reason coaches plug holes in the centres with 2nd rowers - defence.

If you've ever played centre...or rugby league for that matter, you'd know Benji should be nowhere near centre.

James Roberts v Benji Marshall? You decide...

I have played rugby league actually mate . At a pretty high level too. And I used to play second row. So go figure ??! I said benji because we have zero experienced options . You’d have 2 rookies in the backline , and I’d feel like benji had something to prove . Also benji is hard to tackle and can make players miss, pretty useful for creating mismatches , and overlaps .
But I agree with your statement , although who do you suggest MCK? Lawrence ? They’re hardly better options

We may be down on troops but we're not that desperate that Packer gets a look in.

I'd play 16 or a prop short before I give that waste of space a run again.
I hear the Warriors are desperate for players

You'd have to shift Talau in to his regular position and pick a winger.

Not a lot of choice at this point.

Please! MCK?
Should not feature anywhere near our starting side and neither our bench 4.
He’s had his chances and just brings ZILCH!

Might disagree with that ..... we will see haw that pans out.

Kane Bradley should be given a chance. I remember in ISP against Illawarra he took an intercept and went the length of the field. He
has good pace over the distance and Jason Saab made no ground on him.

Warriors may be desperate but not desperate enough to spend $500,00 per year on Packer.

I think he will too but i'd have Marshall. I understand why he dropped him due to his defensive issues but I think overall he adds more to the side (and Reynolds was terrible defensively on the weekend). It would have been nice to have him running the show late in the game Saturday night.

I don't buy into the whole "Benji stifles Brooks attack" line. 2018 was possibly Brooks best year and he played alongside Benji most of the season.

Also...Marshall bombing Mitchell would also be very good to watch.

I think this team is capable of beating the Bunnies. I like Marshall on the bench. He can fill in at five eight if needed. He was also a pretty handy Number 9 for a few games last year.

Tigers fans have a really bad habit of trying to put halves and second rowers at centre. Either Talau or Hoffman will play there I would think, we can’t afford to have MCK, Benji, Brooks or Lawrence at centre.

McIntyre looks like our only other forced change so would expect packer to come in but Blore is a chance.

Other changes Madge MIGHT make is dropping ET or MCK but with our limited forward depth at the moment wouldn’t be surprised if it all stays the same

It’s not that anyone wants benji at centre, I certainly don’t , but I just worry about whether 2 rookies might be overwhelmed . Still one of them has to face Gagai , who only plays 3 good games a year , and it’s not for Souths
