Isnt it funny how everybody wants to give all these untried and untested guys at NRL level a crack when we are trying to establish ourselves in the top 8 so we can play finals footy...I love that we have young guys in the squad,but with no reserve grade games this year to measure the quality of their play,do you want them to fail and be hammered by seasoned players and lose their confidence....once again I will say Madge is the coach and when he sees fit to play these guys he will...
I don't want to make suggestions on who needs to play and where because Madge is trying to find the right fit for our team if we do get desperate enough to call the young ones up...

I don't fawn over Madge,he is the coach and has made some very good changes in the team and club...that being the culture of the playing group...if you are a fairdinkum WTs fan,member or supporter then you will know we needed change ...Madge is trying to deliver that and us into finals football..
If you cant honestly say this young squad with some older experienced players in it hasn't shown that they are striving to play for the FULL 80 minutes and their defense is so much better than years gone past,then you don't see the change Madge is working toward..

With the exception of Reynolds and Chee Kam I thought our defence on the weekend was excellent and I think we’re heading in the right direction. I think Madge is doing a good job but he’s also made mistakes and will make more (like every coach).

Being a forum this is where ideas are shared. Have I been critical of Madge? Absolutely. Does that make me a keyboard warrior? No doubt. Are you a keyboard warrior for calling out everyone that disagrees with Madge? Definitely.

Benji won’t be playing. Reynolds is a big reason we are playing with so much effort and energy. Often he’s kicking to the corners and leading the chase down there. Opposition still haven’t figured him out in defence because he’s still rushing up but for the most part it’s working. Hasn’t done enough wrong to be dropped in my opinion.

You can criticise Madge all you like,as you said its a public forum,but he still is the coach and I personally can see where he is trying to change the culture and playing style of this squad to be a competitive team now and in the future...;
