After reading that Madge is going play Rowdy in the centres I'm a tad worried. Not liking the idea of Rowdy defending against the full speed of Rocket Roberts .. or Mitchell coming into the backline on a different angle .. !! Not sure if Rowdy can turn at speed anymore .. hmm ??

Roberts could have his shoes tied together and he’d still be too quick for Rowdy.

Madge has shown he is not afraid to give young blokes a crack, however he has also shown he won't just put a player in the deep end and see if they float. While I would love for a Hoffman (Reece) or a Cini to be given a crack this week I think it is unlikely. That said Hoffman will wear the 21 up until game day and should Rowdy (who is almost certain to have first crack) have a shocker this week Hoffman will get his chance, but to me it seems Madge won't risk denting the confidence of a youngster just to plug a hole.
Or I could be completely wrong

I'm looking forward to seeing some young kids on the wing.....be refreshing to see some speed there. I always get the impression that just about every other club has a young speedster coming through, but we don't....

We give all of our speedsters away. Melbourne is a common destination..

It's gotta be talau to centre surely. It's the most simplistic way of going about things and offers a spot on the wing to another newcomer. This isn't our season. We're hammered with injuries and inexperience. Let's plan for 2021 now.

Not a bad solution tbh. He played wing with us in ISP to start with didn't he?

It's weakening two positions though. With all due respect I have no idea why Rowdy and Chee Kam are even being considered. Garner should stay where he is and Hoffman should be given this opportunity.

I think we will see Talau in the centres and Hoffman on the wing. Madge just trying to delay announcement as long as possible. With both Lawrence and MCK shortcomings best to go with the young guns.
