As much as he dents the line, Aitasi James cannot be picked in first grade (yet). His effort plays, motor and defensive ability would be a giant liability.

I watch as many KOE games as I can, particularly for these fringies, and defensively he had some awful moments yesterday.

I was thinking that myself. If Canberra repeat their Rabbits game they’ll be hard to beat.

Shame Jarrod is being rested, his defence in the centres is a huge weakness for them and an easy opponent for To’a.
Their team will be strengthened without him, whilst creating the narrative it’s all about the party the following weekend. Clever by Ricky.

He's also their captain and leader and goal kicker I think so got to take the positive out of him not playing as well

This is gonna be a hard game

It may have taken a lot out of them, additionally there was a concerted effort to play for their fallen comrade. Emotional efforts like this against the comp leaders usually results in a flat outing the following week.
Even though we are most definitely the Raiders bitches over the past decade, I am expecting we win this one.

The only changes I see is Naden coming back in and Talau to the bench ( might be vice versa) .if Api plays big minutes Wed night he might come off bench and Simpkin starts So for me bench is Api , Talau , Twal and Kepoa
Cant see how any Ressies forward can play his way in as they just conceded 40 pts to a bottom half St George team

It has to be Blore or Matamua that comes in for Joffa. If we go with Matamua we can have him play as a 13, if it's Blore I'd like to see Blore defend in the middle and attack on an edge in rotation with Bateman who plays a ball-playing 13 role in attack and continues to defend on the right.

Seyfarth has regularly been our best performed player when biding his time for the Magpies in KOE Cup, with Blore and James close behind him.
It makes every sense to select the best performed player when there is a vacancy in our NRL side.

we are winning games through our forwards dominating.... and we have seen losses of momentum when Klem and Stef are off... how do we rotate those two off ? Twal and ? If Pole is playing lock, he wont be able to back up at prop and play 80. We need to continue to dominate the advantage line up the middle. Carrying Tommy and Kapoa doesn't work in my opinion.

Seyfarth is one of those players that excels in cup but can’t seem to translate it to first grade. Joffa is 10x a better player then Seyfarth & Seyfarth will most likely not even be at the club next year, if we are prioritising development the spot should be given to Blore, Matamua or James not Seyfarth.
