Your Team vs Silvertail Scum...

As long as halatua is 100℅ I'm not concerned that he hasn't trialed…..however Edwards might be a different story probably state cup for he.

Buchanan needs to be replaced with either Chee Kam, Halatau or preferably Joel Edwards when fit.

I really don't understand some of the rational behind some of these selections. Surely Cherrington has done enough to establish himself as the hooker of the future. He's shown he has the skills for the position - often displaying faster and superior dummy half service than Farah. Why then are people proposing that Littlejohn or Halatau start in that position next week. If he is the future then the future is now.
As an add on - Addo-Carr should be blooded, inexeperienced or not. He shows all the skill required of a proper winger, good under the high ball, lightning fast and with game changing ability. If Rankin is not kicking he shouldn't be there because winger is clearly not his position.

Littlejohn played well against the Warriors doesn't deserve to be dropped. He'll relish the chance to play against his old team.
Ps don't think I've used the word "relish" before..I think it might be the last time I use it.

17\. Edwards

I am loathe to change a winning side too much but JT has all but confirmed Edwards will play. I've kept Rankin since it's only round one and he deserves a chance to improve (plus he can play in the halves in a pinch.) JLJ unfortunately is the odd man out since Brooks is returning, if I were to keep him there Lovett would drop out. Give Kapow another week to make sure he's right instead of rushing him back.

EDIT: Interestingly enough if we played Rankin and JLJ, we'd have a set of backup halves in case we were unfortunate enough for Brooks and Moses to go down in the same game.

If Edwards is match fit he replaces Chee Kam. If Halatau is match fit he replaces Lovett.

x2\. Edwards and Halatau need match fitness, better to do it in State Cup for a couple of weeks since they haven't played any trial matches either.

Really looking forward to seeing Edwards play. He could just make all the difference to this team

Is there a reason for not having Cherrington in Mac's team? Or is it just an oversight

Bit mystified why people are rushng Halatau back into the starting number 9.

We were ahead by 20 odd with Littlejohn doing a fine role there.

Although i suppose with Brooks back it complicates things in terms of selection.

I wonder how much our style of footy change with Brooks back Eddie

Moses does a lot of things that Brooks won't

Aloiai is the one to miss out because JT wants a hooker on the bench and has all but said Edwards is defo playing.

Strong team imo.

Did he say he would play NRL? Might be coming back in SC to get some miles in his legs.

Moses does a lot of things that Brooks won't

Moses runs the ball more often and takes on the line and creates room for his outside runners , Brooks relies on the ball doing the work Geo

Maybe what Moses does when he runs the backs might suit the side more that what Brooks does when he runs the backs

Brooks might be cramping and hindering Moses attacking style , we play more direct as Brooks helps us to play straighter ….

I would rather have a play maker that runs it too often than one who doesn't run it enough Watto

As you'd know , teams just slide because they know your going to pass all the time

I wish Brooks would run with intent at least once within his 1st three touches of a game within the opposition half , even within our half

He doesn't and everyone knows it
