Your Team vs Silvertail Scum...

On Saturday night the team looked a lot more lethal with Moses calling all the shots than at any stage last year with Farah,Brooks and moses calling the shots. In saying that the Brooks Moses combo looked super sharp against the Sharks a few weeks ago. I guess by having the two out there will at least have the opposition guessing

Bit mystified why people are rushng Halatau back into the starting number 9.

We were ahead by 20 odd with Littlejohn doing a fine role there.

Although i suppose with Brooks back it complicates things in terms of selection.

Manly play a very physical game Iam sure Taylor want Halatau for his defence

The side will remain largely unchanged.

Brooks back in.

Halatau will come in for Buchannen, and start in 9, I suspect that Brooks will do some DH work and Dene will be halfway between what Lovett did in 9 last week and a traditional hooker.

Edwards back through NSW cup. He is competing with Aloaia for the bench spot.

I'd rather my 6 or 7 set up the opposition and time when the run to the line

You are bang on…don't listen to the fullback...

When Brooks came on in the Sharks trial (coincidentally coinciding with Cherrington) Wests Tigers played much more direct and the points flowed..

In the opposition 20 he ran it himself 4 or 5 times at different stages sucking in the defenders which allowed space out wide for the Rankin and Naiqama Tries

Yes and we played straight for the most partand direct without Cherrington or a recognized 9 or Brooks

Moses did take some bad options in the 2nd half , but he doesn't get to play the lead role often

Just putting it out there Geo , maybe we need to see how Moses can go for a few weeks on his lonesome without Brooks

We have until June to find out who we should spend probably 15% of our cap on

If we don't need Brooks ….... lets save some money

Id obviously include Brooks at Half, Halatau at hooker and the only other change id make is possibly Hunt in for Rankin. I dont think Rankin played poorly as such i just think Hunt offers more at this stage and Buchannan to drop off the bench.

It wouldn't be such a bad idea Brooks doing some dh as a left footer can be very handy for us. We are a very adaptable team.

We will be a much more formidable team with a 6 & 7 who can offer a full range of options on both sides of the ruck.

You don't think the fact that we showed our hand with Moses as the sole playmaker didn't contribute to the Warriors stacking the defence on his side in the 2nd half?

Geez that first half worked well as we had an extra forward. I know it was a one off and our game went to pot in the second half. In the second half, we could have done with a controlling halfback like Brooks.
But in the first half, having the half back (and Whoever else got to DH first ) plus the extra forward, made a game plan that should be looked at again. Not for the whole game, just for periods. Watching it, it seems like we always had the overlap. Or we had pods of four players coming up against 3\. It gave our edge players space
