Littlejohn and Lovett unlucky to miss out...Josh deserves to keep his spot and Edwards offers more in defence at the back end of each half..

Reluctant to make changes to a winning team but feel these few make it stronger..
 
I like the side except for Halatau and Edwards. I assume they would both be lacking match fitness, which in these days of reduced interchange (especially with one benchie being held back for injuries) could be telling.

If Edwards is match fit he replaces Chee Kam. If Halatau is match fit he replaces Lovett.
 
Halatau to start, brooks in for littlejohn. Lovett to bench with jack b dropping off.

I assume Edwards is going to need some time in nsw cup given his coming back from injury.

I would leave rankin in for the time being but once we work out our interchange rotation I think he becomes the perfect bench utility. Hunt gets first crack with adding Carr coming in once the team settles down.

Then would be happy with the rest of the side.

It would surprise me if Edwards would come straight into 1st after missing chunks of the pre season and last year.

Dene's service is okay for mine prefer him in backrow…...again is only a short term deal for when Farah returns hopefully in rd 4
