That’s the problem Tucker.
We have been winning lucky which has been covering up our deficiencies and covering up our players that have not been willing to run hard and tackle hard for 80mins.
When our NSW Cup team and Jersey Flegg team are getting flogged every week, it doesn’t create any pressure for under performing players.

For me, this season was more about gaining some credibility, and showing measurable improvement, including ladder position. In my opinion, we don't have to make the 8 for the season to be a success, although it would be a nice bonus. I just don't see the point of rushing Skelton, Latu, etc, back ahead of time, increasing the chances of a reinjury. Skelton has shown that he could lock down a wing spot indefinitely, and the brief glimpses of Latu in 1sts & junior footy show a special talent, who could form a great partnership with Luai.
