Your team vs the roosters

1\. Brown
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui

13\. Heighington
12\. Fulton
11\. Ellis
10\. Galloway
9\. Farah
8\. Gibbs

14\. Woods
15\. Payten
16\. Moltzen
17\. Groat

I'd drop Fifita from my team, and put Moltzen on the bench. - Apart from that its the same side that CB has already stated, for exactly the same reasons. Would love to see Mitch Brown do the same move that farah/marshall/moltzen executed against the Cowboys, would love to see him run with some confidence…

I'm also assuming Utai will not be fit.

If we are going to drop Mckinnon relatively quickly, then we should keep the precedent, and IMO Fifita has done nothing since his sharks signing has been announced. At least do it to fire the young fella up....

i wouldn't mind seeing Moors given a chance, before Payten…i think he'd be better value, but we all know that won't happen.

The roosters are always a hard team to beat for us, lets hope we have the confidence and get some revenge for last year's semi's.
Shame DWYER is injured but I'd go with this team.

1\. Moltzen
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Gibbs
11\. Fulton
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Ryan
15\. Woods
16\. Fifita
17\. Murdoch Masila

1- Tim Moltzen
2- Lote Tuquiri
3- Blake Ayshford
4- Chris Lawrence
5- Matt Utai
6- Benji Marshall
7- Robert Lui
8- Bryce Gibbs
9- Robbie Farah
10- Keith Galloway
11- Gareth Ellis
12- Todd Payten
13- Chris Heighington

14- Matt Groat(my choice) / brown/ryan(timmys choice)
15- Aaron Woods
16- Andrew Fifita
17- Liam Fulton

not many people want moors to get a go before the finals???

Well, the only place you would put junior moors into most teams in lieu of Matt Groat.

I wouldn't mind seeing him have a hit out TBH, but it would be make or break. I'd love to see him all pissed off and angry charging at the line, as opposed to the placid gentle giant he comes across as. (Galloway as well!! He plays best when a call goes against him in the opening 5-10 minutes!)

You have to remember, Moors had some fine games in 2010, but also had some pillow games as well.

1\. Moltzen
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Benji
7\. Miller
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighno

14\. BMM
15\. Groat
16\. Woods
17\. Fifita

You could never have Moors and Fifita in the same side.

Both carry the same deficiencies and it isn't worth the risk of doubling up on them

not that it should surprise anyone, but Tuqiri said he's 100%

1\. Brown
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Benji
7\. Moltzen
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Gibbs
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighno

14\. Lui
15\. Groat
16\. Fulton
17\. Payten/BMM

No Fifita, he has been rubbish since he signed for the Sharks.

I don't think it matters what side we put up against the Roosters, I think we will struggle against them. They will be peeved about a 1 point loss last week, and can anyonew tell me the last time we beat them. Carney is playing well, Pearce can carve up when he's playing well and Anasta will bring rain with a plethera of very high bombs. Also, it appears to me that the occasion of playing at Leichhardt doesn't seem to have the same impact as it once did.

we beat them in the Foundation cup 19-8 this year. Both teams played full strength squads. I'd consider it a victory, although if you want an NRL season game, I believe we beat them in 2009..

I remember a fantastic try saving tackle by Moltzen/Ryan on Minichello in that game when Mini looked like he was going to score for all money - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgP3ROfM9JQ

1\. Mitch Brown
2\. Lote Tuqiri

14\. Liam Fulton

16\. Junior Moors
17\. Tim Moltzen

Lets hope that Mini is still crook and does not play and they pick Phil Graham at fullback - he makes Mckinnon look like Larry Corowa.

Utai would be a big risk, first run back from a spell raining bombs. Also makes some shocking defensive reads. Granted he had a few top notch games earlier on in the season, but I had the feeling the other teams had started to work him out and his impact was on the slide. Prove me wrong Matty (if you get picked)

Considering his build I still think he makes for a perfect bench back as he covers wing and is more than capable of impact second row
