Your team vs Titans - our GF

Imagine that Gus would be talking him up best outside back I have ever seen the Tigers have a special one there

Then a few weeks later the dogs are not interested at all he has a contract and good luck to the Tigers
big deal - he is not a lose today or in our future

If we had any other prop he’d be playing Reggie’s with white hair.

The thinking
Yep, this is a good game to debut some guys we might be working with next year.
Let the kids have a crack at them.

The approach that saw Feledy and Kit Laulilii debut in a game v Manly a few seasons ago, and the team conceded 50 pts.

This club hands out debuts too easily. Neither Makasini or Saukuru, or any other kid in reserve grade is ready for NRL right now. If it was a game to make finals, would they be considered? So why in this game?

Skelton should be replaced by Tu'itupou or Staines. Otherwise, there isn't much in the lower grades that can do a job in first grade right now.

You can't compare that team to what we have now from memory was injury riddled, this year's team is a far better one where one debut player could slot in easily.

Anyway, it's not up to any of our opinions, If the coaching staff think he's ready for a crack he will get it, it's one game and you never know he could rise to the hype and have a blinder if not provides a learning curve to work on in the off season.

This is a throwaway game against the worst performed team in the comp. Win lose or draw matters not. I think we all agree this season has been a step on the right direction. Not a success mind you, but there’s two elements that can be worked with.
  1. They are fighting to get wins
  2. Our individual skill levels have increased.
Plenty of areas to work on still but exposing some young guys in this round to first grade can’t really be seen to be negative when we’ve been doing it far earlier in the season when dropping games actually mattered.

It will be a tough game this one as Titans have a lot to play for.
They lose and get the spoon and win and it might go to Knights.

I hope we don't repeat the last round from last year. Titans are very quick and can pile on the points.

Looking forward to seeing Makasini and would also give a bench spot to a young forward with some aggression like Solomone Saukaru.

I’m hoping their big effort was today but if we take them lightly, it will be to our peril and a lot of good work would be undone.
Should we win, the team can have two Mad Mondays, one on Saturday night on the Goldy and one back here, but someone told me that we’re not much of a drinking team.

No way that would ever happen, Gus has never even met him. 🤣

You spelt thinking incorrectly.
