Your Team vs Titans Round 4

Someone has to do the defence in the middle period. From what I have seen, it isn't going to be Musgrove. Horses for courses, new rules and new game.

Jennings saved a try when he put the big Sharks' winger over the sideline after he caught that cross field kick. Thompson wouldn't have made that tackle. It is a case of a bigger man required for the task.

I like Thompson but as was explained to me by a former lower grade coach, he is the player who csptains ISP. He relieves in the NRL when required.

Same 1-18 for me

with Musgrove coming on to the bench in place of Seyfarth, and MCK replacing Rowdy on bench

That's not really the same then is it..

Worried how we will cope with the same day /travel/play

Musgrove for Olly ...bring some aggression

You would worry if you were the only man on Earth surrounded by a hundred vestal virgins..

Discipline is one of the major keys in the new game and the 17used on Saturday showed plenty of discipline. Musgrove might add aggression but also might lack in discipline. The Knights tonight showed what is required, defence, defence and more defence. The games to fast for aggression and strong man tactics, it’s all about run hard and play the ball fast in attack and a very fast mobile defence..than throw in a smart kicking game . There was a team about 15 years ago who had this game down pat

I think more than discipline and aggression you need stamina, which might be why musgrove missed out. Its ok if you get a fair share of the ball but if possession goes against you, bench players might be required to play larger minutes under fatigue.

Not saying he would have Paws but Thommo didn't have any trouble with Taumalolo.

Titans lost three in a row, conceding 30+ points a game, have multiple injuries and if they lose won’t have won a game for 365 days.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster for us 😂 we should be able to rack up a good 30+ points hopefully

We’re yet to give Joey Leilua any early ball near the try line - if there’s every a game to do it it’s this week. Titans have really weak edge defenders that Joey should be able to dominate

It sounds like Twal (Contrary Conduct charge) may have verballed the ref and copped a monetary fine, as for Clark his was a low grade dangerous contact charge. Both are free to play this week.

Jennings could cure cancer and some on here would bag him out still. He is solid not spectacular but safer than Thommo.
Maybe swap Mmbye with BJ Leilua and hopefully that helps Nofo defence and gives jennings some attacking ball that he needs, Nofo doesnt need the attacking ball as much as defensive assistance

Twal told Mulitalo his haircut made him look like a reverse choc top

Thommo has done some really good things for WTs including that tackle. Jennings has worked really hard to lose weight and regain his pace. He also provides stability under the high ball. Maguire has preferred him for a reason but it will be a contested spot for the year.

Looks like Twally got Mulitalo in a good choke hold to cop his fine.... worth it! Clark for a crusher tackle

Alex Twal is a good boy. There is absolutely no way possible to inflict "contrary conduct" on some flogger who debuts in NRL calling himself simply Ronaldo.
Watching this tosser onfield Saturday, nobody can doubt what sort of bloke he is. As an aside, if he played the ball 10 times, he just rolled it through lifting his foot out of the way 8 times at least. But don't let that distract from the type of guy he is.

worked a charm

Yes, not only did he get us going for the Benji restart play that led to the Nofo miracle try but his Statue of Liberty play dished to Aloioa was sublime. We haven't seen a DH with that subtle service for ever! Sadly, if it had been RF we'd be lamenting what might have been, as he tried to burrow his way through the Cronulla pack!
