I'd give Groat a week to cool down. Looks like he will be part of our finals campaign so it might be best to let him sit the week in NYC and let him recharge.

I'd be giving Neil Begovich a trial run and seeing if he's up to it. After all, Sheens says we will be relying on junior development heavily over the next few seasons. Flanagan to cover at centres in case a back goes down (Brown is Mr. Versatility in this instance.)

Fulton to stay on the right, he was fantastic yesterday in defense. The Eels sent plenty of traffic at Lui and they both contained it superbly.

My only change would be Tuqiri in for Utai.
I would hold Ellis off for 1 more week.
I like the idea of having Utai coming off the bench but with Lui having a few issues with minor injuries i would prefer having McKinnon chiming at the back end of the game

Giving Begovich a run is a good idea Bogan Disagree on Flanagan idea though I think the MacKinnon or Utai idea is a better option at this stage

Look, Todd has been great for us, but it might be time to start blooding some guys.

There's been a few suggestions of giving Groat a break in the lower grades, which is an interesting suggestion. Maybe have Flanagan on or keep Todd there then or give Gareth another week, have Flanagan on in the starting 13 and Todd on the bench with Utai, Woods and Begovich.

I'd slot Woods into starting Prop, and put Moors on the bench.
 
I quite like having Mckinnon on the bench if he comes on for Lui in about the 60th minute as a "no 7" but not in a ball playing role. He should be told just run off the forwards and the halves, sniffing around the ruck. He could be extremely dangerous that way with fresh legs in the last 20\. With benji and robbie as the playmakers we don't necessarily need a third.

if there are any other injuries in the backs moltzen can cover and mckinnon to fullback.

having said that, utai can play as an extra forward and his impact is great. so both have positives.
 
If Gibbs is out I can see Sheens naming the following pack and bench- Yep Utai and McKinnon on the bench

If Gibbs is out with that cut then Woods to start at prop and Moors to bench.
 
Tim Sheens hasn't played Moors in 2 years, even when we were severely depleted. He opted for the Schirnacks rather than using Moors. Why would he use him now? I don't see Moors coming back IMO.

if mckinnon comes on for lui then moltzen would just move to halfback and mcinjured to fullback
