Your Team vs Warriors..

I think that's as best as we are going to get Geo, i don't mind the like for like change in Liddle coming in…..but I don't think this is a game for him to be making his debut against IMO .
You would know better than me Geo in regards with Liddle but I don't think his quite ready yet.
I think half a year in State Cup will do a world of good but we are scraping the barrel already with Halatau and Ballin not available, so it's a high possibility depends what JT has in mind.

Liddle's best attributes are his running game and the way he gets his team playing direct and his passing from dummy-half..he is also not small as people make out 183cm and 85kgs is roughly the same as Farah …Sure he is not ready for the weekly grind of NRL...but that wont be asked of him in this 1 game..20-25 mins max...

We will need to attack fire with fire in this game...Having a makeshift dummy half in Littlejohn Cassell or a Lovett just wont cut it IMO...

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Simona
4\. Naiqama
5\. Addo-Carr
6\. Moses
7\. Littlejohn
8\. Woods
9\. Cassel
10\. Grant
11\. Lawrence
12\. Sironen
13\. Sue

14\. Seumanufagai
15\. Chee-Kam
16\. Cherrington
17\. Aloiai

The more I think about it, the more using Liddle as bench hooker makes sense. I have liked him since the first time I saw him play, so my opinion is somewhat biased, but he was seen as good enough to train with the top, squad.

Having trained alongside and gone through all the plays with the big boys over the summer and then having a short run in the trials, surely it makes a mockery of the decision to give him such experience in the first place, if they manufacture a stop gap solution.

I think most of the teams picked look good but right now I'd go with this team. I could change my mind in 15 minutes time though.

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Simona
4\. Naiqama
5\. Addo-Carr
6\. Moses
7\. Littlejohn
8\. Woods
9\. Cherrington
10\. Grant
11\. Lawrence
12\. Sironen
13\. Sue

14\. Seumanufagai
15\. Aloiai
16\. Chee-Kam
17\. Liddle

My team would be the following:

1 Tedesco
2 Nofoaluma
3 Simona
4 Naiqama
5 Rankin
6 Moses
7 Littlejohn
8 Woods
9 Cherrington
10 Grant
11 Sirro
12 Lawrence
13 Sue

14 Hunt
15 Aloiai
16 Ava
17 Chee-Kam

I feel that bench provides options all over the place.
Hunt can play hooker or cover outside backs for a short period of time, he has pace coming out of dummy half, decent passing game, not sure about tackle loads but i would assume the team would need to play tighter.
Aloiai and Ava provide cover in the backrow and prop rotation.
Chee-Kam can cover backrow and centre - he has pace, decent defence and provides great options.

Littlejohn just needs to control the game and let Moses do his own thing.
Sirro will need to stand up esp if defending inside Moses and having Hurrell running direct to Moses. I personally think that Sirro is not the player to defend inside Moses. I would maybe swap Sue and Sirro in defence. Sirro defends tighter and Sue can become our Toni Carroll type protector for Moses.

Hunt is injured..back injury out of the Sharks trail scans to reveal more.. return date TBC..

Well so much for hoping we would have another good year on the injury front!

1 Tedesco
2 Nofoaluma
3 Naiqama

Would love to see JAD play but our lack of depth in goal kicking makes Rankin a priority
Chee Kam and Parahis versatility will be also be useful

People are picking Parahi??? As far as I understand the last game he played of league was in the Dogs juniors. He needs a few hit outs playing state cup before you would even think twice about giving him a run

I'm amazed at the amount of rookies in everyone's team. I thought we had more experienced depth, I know we have injuries and suspensions but this is concerning

Quick question, are any of JAC, Liddle, Littlejohn or Aloiai in our top 25 because I feel some teams named here may eat into our second tier cap already in round 1\. Not good moving forward.

Ps what is our top 25?

Not sure, I would have said:

Teddy
Nofo
Simona
Naiqama
Rankin
Hunt
Moses
Brooks
Littlejohn
Farah
Ballin
Cherrington
Woods
Grant
Ava
Buchanan
Griffin
Sue
Lawrence
Sironen
Edwards
Halatau
Lovett
Chee Kam

…and JAC or Aloiai as the last spot as a guess.
