Your team

These injuries and SOO and playing against the competition leaders couldn't have come at a worse time
Mania Cherrington is a great player - probably better than Robbie at the same age .i would give him a go at firsts
Jay Hitchcock has been in tremendous form .I would give him a go at fullback .
Aspeli Fine has also been great this year - give him Simona's spot

100% The team i would run with, but perhaps Cherrington in the 9.

Not what I'd pick but what I think we'll see:

1\. Austin
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Lulia (sigh)
4\. Lawrence
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks
8\. Galloway
9\. Luani

Lots of people bagging Lawrence but none ( so far ) bagging Sironin. Has been ordinary every game.

Give Moses a run at fullback, could not hurt.

Assuming that Tedesco, Simona, Nofualuma, Farah, Woods and Sue will be out, I'd go for;
1\. Austin
2\. Taukafa
3\. Fine (right side defense could be an issue but…..)
4\. Lawrence (lucky)
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks
8\. Taupau
9\. Cherrington
10\. Galloway (on notice)
11\. Akaoula
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair

14\. Moses
15\. Halatau (to back up Cherrington)
16\. Ava
17\. Gavet (if he's punctual and repentant during the week)

Keith Lulia and Joel Luani have done nothing to convince me that they are first grade standard. May as well try a few rookies and see what happens. The effort or enthusiasm won't be lacking and we'd be picking a good mix of experience, flair and players in form.

1\. Austin

So Simona, Tedesco and Sue are all gone through injury and Farah and Woods are out due to SOO. So my team would be

1\. Austin
2\. Nofo
3\. Fine
4\. Lawrence
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks
8\. Ava
9\. Halatau
10\. Galloway
11\. Sironen
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair

14\. Taupau
15\. Lodge
16\. Gavet
17\. Brown
18\. Akaoula

Lawrence is playing crap but only stays as who do we replace him with? Bring Ava to starting prop, he gets stuff all minutes get him in the middle from kick off and make him work hard.

Halatau brings experience and guidance playing hooker which we will need due to the missing players. Taupau is a different and far better player from the bench leave him there.

We need Gavet back even if we get 20 minutes of game time from him, he provides so much go forward and aggression. Same to be said about lodge, the guy is massive has heaps of aggression and runs hard.

Hard choice between brown Akaoula. Akaoula seems to go to sleep after a few minutes of playing great and then become lazy missing a few tackles etc.

This is what i'd like to see:

1\. Moses
2.Nofoaluma
3.Austin
4.Lawrence
5.Richards
6.Anasta
7.Brooks
8.Taupau
9.Halatau
10.Galloway
11.Sironen
12.Thompson
13.Blair

14.Seumanufagai
15.Gavet
16.Akauola
17.Santi

18\. Brown

1\. Austin
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Hitchcock
4\. Lawrence
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks
8\. Galloway
9.Cherrington
10\. Taupau
11\. Sironen
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair

14\. Seumanufangai
15\. Halatau
16\. Akaloua
17\. Gavet

Had a bit of a think about this The more experience we can put on the field without Farah the better and we need to keep as many combinations we currently have together

We need to win this game with defence , Penrith's centres aren't overly quick and have had a rethink on Thompson in the centres Lulia is about the same speed as Thompson , but he is a centre and his defence is very solid

This team will be unloved by many , but it keeps as many people in positions that they know

Austin
Nofoaluma
Lulia
Lawrence
Richards
Anasta
Brooks
Ava
Luani
Keefy
Sironen
Thompson
Blair

Taupau
Halatau
Akoula
Gavet

I really think it's going to be…

1\. Austin
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Lulia
4\. Lawrence
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks
8\. Galloway
9\. Luani
10\. Taupau
11\. Sironen
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair

14\. Ava
15\. Gavet
16\. Halatau
17\. Moses

Moses to get 20 or so minutes at FB. Austin to switch to 9.

I really hope Potter starts Halatau at 9, brings in Akoula on the bench and leaves Luani out. But somehow I don't think he will do that.

1\. Moses.
2\. Nofoaluma.
3\. Lawrence
4\. Thompson (sorry big fella, I know you don't like it, but we need you to stand up!)
5\. RIchards
6\. Anasta - as long as he plays like last week
7\. Brooks
8\. Tapau
9\. Halatau
10\. Galloway
11\. Sironen
12\. Akaoula
13\. Blair

14\. Austin
15\. Big Ava
16\. Gavet
17\. Lodge.

I think that is a weapon attack team, with energy and enthusiasm off the bench, (Lodge will be itching to get out there, and Gavet will just be Gavet) and if Moses can chime into the back line we will be able to lay points on without Farah there.

Think it's gonna be a high scoring one - reckon we'll take it 38-24 - something like that.

I know one thing. We can probably expect to see a 20 man squad named tomorrow. And we'll be playing 'name the squad' right up til kick off. 2 weeks ago Potter was spoilt with choices. And here we are again, struggling for a fit side. The rugby league gods do pick on us a bit!
