Your top 3 & Missing in action?

Brown? Are you serious? The ball never came to him but he worked like a dog in defense. Diffused a kick in goal also. Payten is seriously short of a run :frowning:

Mitch did some good things out there mate.

Benji didnt create a lot of room for his outside men tonight.

Benji would have had a blinder if Utai could catch. Handed him something like a try and two linebreaks that Utai fluffed.

Fulton
Farah
Ellis…............heighno

Missing? I dont think anyone went missing. I thought when Brown was involved he looked strong. Payten is worth persisting with and i believe he'll be a real asset come semi final time.

I wish Utai went missing lol

I thought Brown was very good, as per usual. Rarely has a poor game, strong defensively, made meters with ball in hand. He should be our fullback.

Dont get me wrong…Benj played well but bolting straight acroos field and then trying to hand off the ball before your in touch isnt very impressive ball playing.

For mine thats 2 shockers in a row for Matty Utai...needs to work on his handling skills.

I thought all the pigs played well.

I'll go
3 - Farah
2 - Ellis
1 - Fulton

^ But he does that because it works so well. It forces the defense to either buy his dummies or play at him and if they do either he beats them with either an inside ball to a straight runner or skipping to their outside and taking the gap or linking on the outside or back inside with the outside men, he does it all the time and it creates at very least half breaks every time the recipient doesn't grass it.

Long story short, if Lawrence plays tonight he probably would have went to him instead of Utai and we would have won by 40 with Lawrence scoring 4 tries.

Brown was great, rarely puts a foot wrong. Seriously hope he is with us next year, valuable squad player.

Payton was nowhere to be seen! Best were Fulton, Ellis, farah n heino! Is it time to bring fifita back n give groat a break??? Thought he was ordinary n didn't do much last week either. Put the kid back in 20s to freshen up a bit!

Fulton, Farah, Ellis and Heighno were all prominent. Galloway and Gibbs also went forward well while Ryan was good out wide. Utai and Payten were the disappointments tonight unfortunately.

Farah had a blinder followed by Fulton and Heighno.

Utai had another shocker and should make way for Lote next week.

Payten has been a great player but looks a shadow of his former self. His experience is keeping him in the team. Maybe he should start in a couple of games before the finals to get some valueable game time.

I thought Mitch Brown went well tonight. Good defence.

Did Payten even take a hit up? I was at the game and only saw him once, when we were walking back after Ellis' second try.
