Your turning point

Halftime.

Agreed, the team went into the sheds, discussed how they could win given saints were all over them in the first half and couldn't rack up a big lead, then believed in themselves and came out for the second half and did some steamrollering.

I agree it was Soward's missed penalty goal and field goal attempt.

It turned the game in that they were dominating n that period but came away without any points to show. The StG 'plan' was for those two kicks to go over, making it 15-6 at halftime, and setting up the grind for the second half. That it remained 12-6 left them vulnerable to just one converted try, which we quickly scored. This meant that they had to come up with Plan B, and score points. St G have no Plan B. (BTW, how is that good coaching?)

as laurie daley says football is a game of 2 halves…..

Halftime for me was the turning point. With the dragons playing stop start football going for penalty kicks and the field goal, the boys could.not get any momentum in the first half.
Second half was a completely different story, we were able to dictate terms and the dragons were forced to play at our pace, which caused them to make a few errors.

39th minute and Fulton’s bust up the middle. Dragons were gone after that, they did not have a plan to cope with that sort of play. Too busy covering Benji, they forgot about Robert L, Tim and Robbie.

My turning point was when we almost scored before halftime, I seen good signs there and we went in heads up.

I'm with the Golden on this one.

I'm with you guys…it was a dour, boggey first 40 but when we split them right on half time you could see that there was plenty more to come.

Half time, and the fact they were going for a field goal and penalty kicks.

I was more confident of winning the game down at half time, than I was at the beginning of the game.

yep same, only being 6 down considering all the ball we turned over, I was fairly positive for the 2nd half

the turning point was when dragons were attacking our line in the 2nd half and benji stripped the ball and dragons got the penalty and went for goal. they had us on the ropes and should have went for the try and keep the pressure on. instead they went for goal and missed and didnt chase the kick as well as they should have and we got out of goal and the pressure came off

Definitely the turning point imo.

I think Dragons taking a shot at goal before half time. I think we lifted after that, they had us shot to bits and took the foot of the throat. Of course we made a break shortly after, and tore them to shreds in the second half
