Your unpopular opinions.

My unpopular opinion is sheens wasn't too bad and had us competitive and at least around the 8 every season. Would have much preferred him over potter. Everyone bagged Farrah for saying so but maybe it was the truth. Potter couldn't coach and had zero people skills

we will never know how much influence that Ken Arthurson, had over NSW rugby league and the refeering decisions of a certain ref, who controlled alot of Manly games, in the 70's & 80"s, when Manly won the comp a few times. :imp:.

Contrary to what most people here believe I loved Royce Simmons. Seen a lot of the behind the scenes things he did with charities etc. Also was the first to front up after a loss when others were dodging. Was extremely well liked by the players. And stood up for them even when some may not have deserved it.

Cancer research charities are thieves. They collect millions upon millions each year and from their results, must spend hardly any of it on cancer research…I think they all got together and bought an island where the head management vacation and participate in orgies, human sacrifice and devil worship.

Why cannot NRL clubs stick to the one jersey design just like the clubs used to do in the "old" days. This new jersey design a year syndrome only results in the club "fleecing" its supporters.

That's hardly an unpopular opinion. Look at St. George, Souths and Easts. Instantly recognisable.

Most of the money goes into administration!, the collectors and the call centres don't do it for nothing!, once the wages are paid there's bugger all left for the actual research!.

Im not sure if this has been mentioned but I dont understand why a lot of people hate Ray Hadley. I agree with most of what he says. Im not sure what he's like away from the mic but when you take him at face value, he does do a lot of good and helps a lot with charities and raising money for help people when their luck is down. His views are strong and the callers he sticks it to on air 99% of the time deserve it.

Chris i couldn't agree more .

Hadley's alright. Andrew Moore is hundred times worse than him, and the general consensus is that he's alright, not sure why. Glad he got sacked.

Hadley's issues are not the front end IMHO. I think in terms of Rugby League commentary, he's top shelf.

The major issues other members of the media have with Hadley are his behind the scenes plays, and when he oversteps into political commentary, and social commentary - that's where I feel Hadley comes undone.

I dont see an issue with his political and social commentary. He's very down the line and calls it how he sees it. Again, for the most part, I agree with his political views too.

I don't despise many people in Rugby League but Arko is someone I detest.

OK this will not be popular, but as johnny q and arko presided over the most successful growth period of RL in Australia ( when our game was growing faster than AFL) they may of actually of known what they were doing.

My unpopular opinion (with you, Chris but not with the vast majority of others) is that Ray Hadley is nothing more than a bombastic, over-rated, abusive, aggressive moron who should be removed from the airwaves ASAP for the benefit of all decent Australians.
