Here's hoping the club act quickly and put out a statement regarding this .. before the press have a field day on it .. !!

They are saying former rabbitohs player. Hasn't had a game for us yet. Not that matters, he should be punished. Hope the club takes a hard stance.

Should be taken out of the club's hands. Should be NRL coming down and de-registering these players if found guilty. Stood down whilst court investigations are underway. And other clubs and disallowed from re-signing the player.

Players should be sacked, and after serving a long ban (year or two) should only be allowed to come back through the club that had them (if the club still wants them), on a lesser or equal contract for the length of time that was left on the contract.

NRL, Women round, all that anti DV rubbish, are totally farcical.

But this problem isn't just in League, society needs to do the same to all offenders. Punish hard. It's ridiculous.

These guys never learn. Time for the nrl to draw a line in the sand. Enough is enough.

How dumb can you be. Just signed a 3 year contract, probably worth 275-350k a year, and a week later put it in jeopardy by assaulting somebody. His IQ matches his age.

Well isn't that just great, are we able to sack this bloke before he goes to court, because our roster needs some recruits, so we can't wait for ever

Rugby league needs to grow a spine.
Hayne, Walker and now this turd, what’s the point of women in league rounds and violence against women campaigns if every time “one of the boys” harasses, abuse’s or physically harms a woman(in some cases repeatedly) if we as a game and community let these freaks of the hook by sacking them and re instating them to another club?

Put one of these a$$holes in gaol and set a precedent, clean the game up and protect our sisters.
Todd Greenberg!!!
Make a call you flake.

X2

It’s not up the NRL to put him in jail. The only precedent they can set is by banning these thugs for life.

Another successful Frontal Lobotomy operation.

The NRL is joke of a product at the moment. Some players are so stupid and think they are above the law and I wonder how much time clubs actually put into educating their players on life and how to treat people. If hes found guilty ban him for life and he can go get a real job, same for Hayne and Walker. Playing in the NRL should be a privilege and im sick of hearing excuses such as, 'they are only kids' and 'there is a lot pressure on these guys'. Spare me.

Surely in a probation period with the tigers contractually.

Agreed. Usually a 3 month probation period. Hopefully.

Who is the other player? A Tiger? More likely a South's teammate from lower grades.

It’s laughable to think clubs educate grown men on how to treat others. My job doesn’t run any of those kinds of courses. I think they would assume my co workers and I would have that figured out.

As for the NRL, and their support of women with women’s round etc, don’t be fooled. Deep down they don’t care. Just like any big business, they know philanthropy is smart business.

I know The NRL can’t put blokes in gaol.
The Australian Judicial system should.
But Letting them continue in our game time after time is not a deterrent.
It would be naive to think that some football clubs are not helping an accused player to beat the charge.
If that happened in my work place you would be sacked and never to return.
And most cases of civilians committing these crimes(repeatedly) do end up serving time.
There needs to be a line drawn in the sand.

Its a very fine line this recruitment thing. We desperately need aggression, too often however we just end up with aggressive people.

There really is art to hiring the right people.
