Supporters of this club have claimed this bloke to be a highly talented prospect for 6 years now. I haven’t seen it. Whenever he puts a few games together he gets injured.
How long do we carry him? He is still young, but in footy terms, his body is old.

Couldn’t agree more.His body can’t handle 80 minutes at 9,fair enough not many can nowadays.
But I’m of the same opinion,his passing game is all over the place,doesn’t jam anyone in defence and looks gone after 30 minutes.
His running game is top tier but we rarely see it.
Benji had played 16 more games at the same point in his career..
Despite being first choice and playing a finals series.
Let's be honest, He's not costing us much money.
Yes, he's missed some games last few years,
But half of the potential games he's missed that you're holding against him are because he was a kid stuck behind Farah & McIlwrick...
You're counting his whole first year, Where he played 1 game toward the back of the year, And we had to get an exemption for him...
A year where he was behind Farah, Halatau, Cherrington...
I also feel your inflating the numbers by including the 7th year - When it hasn't even started....

Think weve seen enough of both to identify & recruit their replacements ...itsnow a matter of managing their exit strategy to least disadvntage the club and be fair to the player(in that order)

Jacob will go through recovery then the club will ease him back to playing as a backup hooker which we will need at the later part of the year. [He still under contract]
If he retires on medical grounds we'll get compensated by getting a replacement or upgrade, Rua if that can be done???

Theyre the facts that CLUB believes actually,and has acted accordingly...do u think we bought Api to play reserve grade next year...I dont think so.
Liddle cant play any other position,so after this year he has no future with WTs ,particularly with other younger 9s coming thru
Simiarly , Hastings sure aint playing reserve grade either..altho if somehow Brooks finally realises his potential after 7 long years(!!!!) ,he has an opportunity to maybe play at 6.But he has to lift considerably to edge out Douhi,because theyre both on a lot of $$ and we only need one at these prices
Thats what it comes down to
o repeat,tThe CLUB,not the forum, (rightly)made recruitment decisions to replace these 2 chronic underperformers Liddle and Brooks,who jointly are on contract for >$1mill next year
That wld buy Pele AND Nikora witrh $$ to spare

so 64 games in 5 years, let's not count 2022 because he is injured that is the point though he is not even on the paddock to start the year.
What do you do when calculating the stats for Adam Douhie as an example he is in his
fifth year 2018 -2022 so because he is not fit to start the season is he only in his 4th year 2018-2021 ? He is unable to start the season but it is his fifth season in the nrl.
Liddle has had 64 games in 5 years taking away this year 2022 and first year where he played 1 game he averages 12 games a year
Injury prone player we should cut our loses for next year if we can move him on (and another club is interested) and push forward with Api, Simpkin, Rua, Peachey. It worked with Penrith they sat Mansour down and said you don't have a future in first grade at Penrith and off he went to souths perhaps if this is said to Liddle he may look at moving on in 2023 if he is not in clubs plans

I think people are getting overly worried for no reason. He should be back in a month MAX! If it was just a partial tear then he will be back in round 3 most likely.
