Why do so many people on this forum think we cannot make the semis in 2022 with this squad I think it’s a decent squad that may surprise.

If we play as a team, have a different structure that supports the teams strengths and play for 80mins then sure we will surprise.

If we don't and play like last year we will come last.

One thing I have learned watching the Tigers over the years is that on their day we can match the good teams but trouble is consistency, if the team can gel together we might just surprise a few teams this year Hastings shown some promise which we really needed, granted the Roosters weren’t full strength in the trial but he took control I reckon if he keeps it up he’ll be our player of the year

Don’t think we’ll come last but I agree if we do play like last year we’ll definitely be bottom 4
Knights going to come last.
Then follow it up like the good old days, going back to back with another spoon in 2023.
With Luke Brooks in the 7 jersey

Knights, Cowboys and maybe even Bulldogs to come last but I only see Dogs getting the spoon if they stick with Barrett all year and I doubt that’ll happen so either Knignts or Cowboys to get the spoon

It's a bottom 4 squad atm. They can prove otherwise but a lot of players will have to play out of their skin.

Demps made a good point as well - we have a lot of injuries already.
While true but really apart from Doeuihi most of the injured players don’t improve the squad Talau and Liddle won’t really improve the team when they return, Kepaoa has potential but so far struggled, Tamou won’t do good the hope for 22 is gonna come from our new recruits

NRL like most other sports is won on desire and hunger and team attitude as much as it is individual players. Any team that turns up each week with a burning desire and effort to win the game has a great chance of doing just that. If you do that every week you win more than half your games and you’re in the 8, with a shot at the title. See sounds easy!

I think you'll find the teams usually 7 or 8 are just making up the numbers recently (think sharks, knights perhaps), this squad could make the finals, but it would be along those lines. To be fair last year there were a few losses that could've been avoided and we would of been in the 8

We should take a poll on this and review it at the end of the year. It's a yes from me.
